The British became Catholics !!
Will be 70 million new Catholics !!
In Northern Ireland ended the religious conflicts (Everyone catholics).
What do you think about it?
It's not the entire Anglican Church, it's mainly those who belong to TAC (The Traditional Anglican Communion) who can no longer remain part of the Anglican Church as they have now allowed:
--Women priests and soon bishops
--Active gay clergy
--Birth control and abortion
--Accepting actively gay congregations
--Marrying gay couples
People who belong to TAC feel as though they no longer have a church and wish to return to the Catholic Church.
At first I wasn't so sure how I felt (that Yahoo article made it seem like the whole Anglican Church was going to join and that they would be allowed to keep their current beliefs, which are against Catholicism), but the more I read (from reliable sources), the better I felt.
TAC converts will be welcomed with open arms just as the father welcomed back the prodigal son. I think there will be some bumps and such, but I think that this will be a good thing and shows that the Pope is doing what he's supposed to do:
Lead people on the right path and help them get to Heaven.

when there is news of Northern Ireland or gay rights or abortion almost every time the catholic church has a spokesman on the radio or tv . the bbc is run by the british public license money .is it not time we heard it from all sides or not at all.Has the british government bowed yet again to the Americans way of thinking.
I'm sorry, but what makes you think presenting a Catholic spokesman is an AMERICAN way of thinking?
Catholics are routinely ignored by the U.S. media, or misquoted. For example, when the Pope went to Africa, he said a lot of great stuff about women's rights, but the U.S. media conveniently left that out of all the coverage.
I was wondering if anyone can let me know which version of the Bible is used to recite the bible verses during Mass and is recignized as used in the Mass by the Roman Catholic Church in Ireland? I was wondering if NOrthern Ireland and the Republic used the same Bible, i heard it was the Jerusalem Bible and not the New Jerusalem Bible is that correct? Thanks
I would say that it would be your Standard Catholic Bible

The Right Honourable Tony Blair, former Prime Minister of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, is now a Roman Catholic. He is a religious man, but modern and supports women's rights and the rights of gay men and lesbain women. Should he be given a formal role in the Church, I suggest Deputy Pope, so he can use his skills to modernise the Church? The Pope needs someone like Blair to give him guidance.
Absolutely not. The last thing the Church needs is a newly converted Cafeteria Catholic having any authority.
Or women in Sikhism and the Hijab for Muslim women?
Also the conflict in northern Ireland?
There is no priesthood in Sikhism . According to Sikhism , any human being ( irrespective of their religion , caste , profession , etc ) can access god and enjoy spiritual bliss , if they are ready to dedicate their efforts in that direction .
Sikhs are not supposed to hate anyone on basis of religion , etc . Sikh scripture says "The exalted lord created the light , all human beings come from god ; From one light all have been created , so who is evil and who is good?" .
Women in Sikhism are free to lead prayers , do prayers/service in Sikh temple . Sikh women have equal rights as sikh men , since men and women considered equal in eyes of god .

One woman, two children and a town torn in two by religion
The events leading up to Sheila’s decision to flee home began at the beginning of 1957 with the approach of Eileen’s sixth birthday. The Cloneys had not yet decided where Eileen would go to school. The couple had a broad understanding that the children would be raised in both religious traditions. Despite this, Sheila believed that her wish that they be partly raised as Protestants was being undermined. In 1998, Mary died of a rare liver disease. Sean died in 1999, four years after being left paralysed from the neck down after a road traffic accident. Eileen and her sister Hazel, who was born a few years after the boycott, still live locally. On June 28, 2009, Sheila Cloney’s funeral service was held in the tiny St Mogue’s church at the entrance to Fethard. For over...
The Heelers Diaries: archbishop diarmuid martin delivers his coup ...
In the tail of atheistic journalist Patsy McGarry's manipulative account in The Irish Times of the protests at Archbiship Diarmuid Martin's Easter church service, Archbishop Diarmuid Martin was quoted as having told a supposed sex abuse victim that former Cardinal Desmond Connell was currently being investigated by the police for the possible witholding of information about old sex abuse cases. Archbishop Diarmuid Martin has colluded with atheistic media groups, namely Independent Newspapers, The Irish Times, RTE, and others to bring about the destruction of the Catholic Church in Ireland through the retrospective ascription of guilt upon a generation of Bishops who attempted to handle sex abuse cases with discretion and are now being falsely labelled concealers and enablers of that abuse.
