Song Title: Message To The Outside Worlds
We are waiting open-armed for a change to come,
We all want a change but we'd like to stay the same.
Waiting open-armed for a change to come.
We suffer deliberately, we can never call our own what we can never have,
We drown in our self-inflictions, can never call
our own what we just can't own!
Waiting open-armed for a change to come.
We all want a revolution, want it to take place, don't participate.
We suffer deliberately, we can never call our own what we can never have.
We get lost in our self distractions,
Can never call our own what we just can't own for ourselves
So we deny, we suppress, we deny
We're oppressed, we suppress, oh god we close
our eyes on everything, tonight,
We'll express, our detresse,
We'll drown the world in tears of hopelessness, tonight!
We're living modern time romances, between customer and product,
The beauty remains in the unseen,
My eyes get captivated by the things you don't even notice, just don't!

Whatever comes on our way, we tend to just look away,
We're waiting for changes while
Waiting for changes everything is staying the same.
So whatever comes on my way, I try to not look away,
While talking of changes nothing is changing - let's act up,
Let's make it today! TODAY!
We laugh, we cry,
We live, we die, we laugh, we cry, we live, never
question why or what's the sense in dying.
We laugh, we cry, we live, we die we laugh we cry we live,
Never question why we laugh and cry and why we live and why we die and why
We laugh when someone cries and why we live while someone's dying,
Never question why or what's the sense in dying, no.
Why watch it hurt, watch it burn until it's dying?
We just watch it break, we watch it burn and bleed all over us.
We're watching it break and watching it burn,
We wait until It's bleeding down on us.
What's the sense? You said - What's the sense
What's the sense in seeing you crying if I don't mind.
What's the sense
What's the sense in seeing you crying if I don't mind...
And this indifference just makes me smiling,
What your doing to me is what you're doing to yourself somehow.
I won't watch it burn, won't watch it bleed,
I won't watch it break and bleed all over me
Either that or....

Song Title: Sign Of The Times
Here is a rainbow for your hair
Here is another sign of the times
We live we die
We laugh we cry
We know not why
Lipstick ´n leather wear ´n tear
Of another sign of the times
We´re chained and bound
Hard lines, crack down
On stony ground
Here is a taste of here and now
Red is the bloody sign of the times
The bride stripped bare
Of all despair
We´re cut but we don´t care
Here is a rainbow for your hair
Here is another sign of the times
Light up in anger i´ll be there
Fight for a sign of the times
We live we die
We laugh and we cry
We know not why
Bent on a life between the lines
End on a sign of the times
I went to a Catholic Church on sunday for the first time with my girlfriend, and i heard a song that id like to know the name of. the only lyrics from the song that i can remember are "sing a song of saigon" or something close to that...im not sure if she was saying saigon, but thats what i think...and that part would be repeated every now and then, so im guessing it was part of the chorus or something..? and there was also a choir singing the song too.
help me find out please! thanks
sing a new song unto the lord?
singing that one in my head creates a kind of "saigon" sound.
1. entrance song
2. alleluia
3. offertory song
4. our father
5. santo santo?
6. communion song
7. final song
The lyrics would really depend on the choice of the priest or even just the choir involved. Most likely you are Filipino, and I will hazard a guess that if you're 25 or older, most of the songs you have heard in your youth are created by Father Hontiveros, SJ. Usually the songs we hear in Mass nowadays are adaptations from other sects (Don Moen's "Give Thanks") or new renditions by Himig Heswita or Hangad.
On to the list!
1. Entrance Song: It might be anything, but usually the songs chosen feature triumph or praise for God's leadership of His people. Theme might change during Christmas and Lent.
2. Alleluia: Heard before the Gospel, the usual rendition is a Tagalog:
"A-le-lu-ya, a-a-le-lu-ya. Wikain mo, Poon nakikinig ako, sa Iyong mga salita. Aleluya, A-le-luuuu-ya." During Lent, the Alleluia might be replaced with a more sober tune, while during Christmas, it might be replaced by Seek Ye First...
3. Offertory Song: Personally, many of the church song book I have read have many choices for the Offertory. Usually the choir has its own favorite.
4. Our Father: It's in the Bible. The same as the basic prayer Jesus taught.
5. Santo Santo: Also adapted from the Bible:
"Santo santo santo
Panginoong Diyos na Makapangyarihan
Napupuno ang langit at lupa
Ng kaluwalhatian/kadakilaan Mo.
Hosanna Hosanna, sa kaitaasan
Hosanna Hosanna, sa kaitaasan.
Pinagpala ang naparirito
Sa ngalan ng Panginoon.
Hosanna Hosanna, sa kaitaasan
Hosanna Hosanna, sa kaitaasan."
6. Communion song. From Give Thanks, to Lead Me Lord, to Silent Night.
7. Final Song: I do not know what distinguishes Communion songs from final/recessional songs.
I am trying to find the name of this catholic church song. Some of the lyrics go as follows: "I was a young man once I know it, my mother has pictures to show it, but she'd always knew I'd out grow it....I guess that's what pictures are for.......(chorus) walk with me, talk with me, tell me about all the good things you've done....stay with me...pray with me...leave all your blues in your shoes at the door!" Any help would be great. Thanks :)

Why They Attack Pope Benedict XVI « The American Catholic
In some ways, we shouldn’t be surprised at all concerning the attacks on Pope Benedict XVI. The Holy Father was never one of the “chosen religious people” loved by the dying group called progressive Christians, or by the mainstream media; that distinctions falls to the National Catholic Reporter, Maureen Dowd, Episcopal Bishop Katharine Jefferts Schori, or the openly gay Episcopal Bishop of New Hampshire, Gene Robinson.
(Point of personal privilege. In my mind, there are two schools of liberals, one is the utopian view, and while I disagree with their unrealistic views of the world, they are in their heart of hearts not nefarious. This group truly believes the world would be a better place if their views were followed. A couple examples of their spiritual gurus would be Jerry Brown and Jerry Garcia. However the other form of liberalism, which is much more prevalent, is a virulent strain that masquerades as a protector of the less fortunate and a conduit of all things intellectual. Their goal is nothing less than absolute societal control; their godfathers are Voltaire, Nietztche, Karl Marx, Saul Alinksy etc.)
...The New Dem. Lt. Gov. Candidate#39;s Anti-Catholic Song - Publius Forum
-By Warner Todd Huston
On March 27, Jeff Finley of the Pioneer Press made an interesting discovery when looking up info on the Democrat's new pick for Lt. Governor, Sheila Simon. Apparently Sheila's 5-piece, all-girl band named the Loose Gravel Girls has an anti-Catholic, Pope bashing song in its play list.
The song titled "Pope Knop" (that's pronounced Kuh-Nope) seems to be about a four-year-old girl that has somehow become a Pope that is "drawing with markers on the Vatican floor" so that "going to church will never be a bore."
The song starts out with some pseudo Catholic liturgy type music and then segues into a piano driven, banjo plucking little tune that features a bouncy beat...
