Has anyone ever heard of the St Malachy prophecy?
St. Malmadog Mosaic

Some say that the Catholic church has a list of popes. Our current pope is the 2nd to last pope. The prophecy I have heard about is referring to the next pope revealing the anti-christ? Any one hear of it?

Yes, I have heard of it. Pope Benedict is supposed to be "De gloria olivae" ("the glory of the olive") and the last pope is "Petrus Romanus" ("Peter of Rome").

Personally, I think it's a lot of confirmation bias.

Do you believe that St. Malachi see the list of the 112 Popes of the Holy Catholic Church?
Remembering the Provisional Irish Republican Army IRA

What do you think? Many encyclopedias and websites are telling that St. Malachy see the list of 112 Popes in the Latin Language! If it is true, then Pope Benedict XVI is the next to the Last Pope before the final judgement! And according to Malachi that the last Pope will reign in the Holy See with the name Papa Petrus Romanus or Pope Peter the Roman. I can't understand the world, why is this happening! What do you think, is Malachi's prophecy true or a big lie by Malachi?

These were looked at and proven false that they weren't form St. Malachi. Besides there are contradictions in these claims.

Is the catholic church aware of it's own demise?

St. Malachy's predictions states that we are now at the 2nd to last pope, "when these things are finished, the seven-hilled city will be destroyed,
and the formidable Judge will judge his people.
The End."

Will the Vatican evacuate Rome, when the next pope is ushered in? I would like to know what if anything they say about these upcoming predictions.

Uh huh...you do know its been proven to be a forgery right? No one can destroy what Christ has created.

One of the best known Catholic prophets to predict that the Pope after John Paul II would be the last was Irishman Maelmhaedhoc O'Morgair who is better known as simply St. Malachy. According to the prophecies of St. Malachy, who was born in 1094, the line of Pontiffs has come to an end. St. Malachy, canonized by by Pope Clement III on July 6, 1199, undertook to list in advance the proper succession of Roman pontiffs from Celestine II to "the end of the world". St. Malachy prophesied that there would be 112 Popes after Celestine II. John Paul II, who just died, is number 110. Pope number 111 would be the "False Prophet" mentioned in St. John's Revelation and who will deliver the Roman Catholic Church to Satan. Number 112 will NOT be a legitimate Pope. It will be the "Grand Anti-Pope" or the Anti-Christ who is also known as the "Abomination that Causes Desolation" mentioned in Daniel 9:27, 11:31, 12:11 and Matthew 24:15 and Mark 13:14. The Prophecies of St. Malachy conclude thusly: "In the final persecution of the Holy Roman Church there will reign Peter the Roman, who will feed his flock among many tribulations; after which the seven hilled city (Rome) will be destroyed and the dreadful Judge will judge the people".

Among other Catholic prophets and scholars that have written on the end of the Roman Catholic Church and its Popes are Jesuit priests Malachi Martin and Pierre Teilhard de Chardin. Another scholar is Fr. John F. O'Connor. Fr. O'Connor has articulated a series of speeches, very much worth listening to as the College of Cardinals elect the next pope, that perfectly outlines the final onslaught on the Roman Catholic Church by "Judeo-Masonic Conspirators" that culminates in the "end of this world" as prophesied in the Bible. Among the most enlightening of Fr. John F. O'Connor's speeches on the subject is one titled "Reign of the False Prophet" that refers to the next Pope.

Fr. Malachi Martin was an eminent theologian and expert in the Catholic Church who wrote that the apostasy of the Roman Catholic Church is a precondition for the end of time, as we presently know it, and for the second coming of Jesus Christ. Fr. Malachi Martin served in the Vatican from 1958 to 1964 where he was a close associate of Pope John XXIII. In 1990, Fr. Martin wrote, "The cultic acts of Satanic pedophilia in the Catholic Church are considered by professionals to be the culmination of the rites of 'The Enthronement of the Fallen Archangel Lucifer' in the Vatican". Fr. Martin believed that the Vatican had finally been, after centuries long efforts, infiltrated, at the highest levels, by Satanists in league with Zionists and what he called the “Universal Assembly” that consists of a Masonic group of Western plutocrats and the Illuminati

Thank you for your mention of martyr for the Faith, Fr. John O'Connor. Catholics have supported him. Fr. Malachi Martin also did sensational battle against Modernism. Priest-martyrs are in the hundreds now.

Vatican 2-ist "catholics" have abandoned, abused & discarded him and hundreds of priests & pastors who scarcely survived vatican 2; modernist "oldies" and "newbies" show no guilt or shame for what they have done. Conciliars proceed to Hell with this greatest sign of their apostasy, no matter how holy and “sweet” their words appear. Beneath those smiles is a hatred so deep and unbounded that it causes blindness to traditional truth! Yes, for these words, I know, too, they will not merely ignore, but will greatly resent! and always for self-imposed ignorance and self-willed hatred of matters doctrinal, for which, now, there will be no excuse. Satan is smiling, too.

Fr. O'Connor was thrown out of his Order when he objected to the homosexual infiltration of seminarian candidates. They are unsuitable for the priesthood by Canon Law. The traditional Catholics fought for Fr. O'Connor to in order to bring the Sacraments to them. The Conciliar Superior brutally defamed, excoriated & persecuted Father. He appealed to “Rome.” His Superior appealed to "Rome" when Father refused to abandon his Dominican Order. The Superior prevented him from saying Mass! then expelled him and denied his vows! Dominicans vow for life. This is astonishing, to say the least. It is diabolical, to say the most. "Conciliar non-catholics" complied and reveal their complete Apostasy in such compliance. Their shame is what the "abomination of desolation" is all about, because the "abomination" spoken of in Daniel and in the Apocalypse IS the New Mass of Montini!

Father O'Connor continued receiving support among us, and John Maffei encouraged him to put his sermons and letters onto video for the purpose of converting the "conciliar non-catholics" then adhering to the Church of Satan being ruled by anti-pope Montini. The apostasy of the "conciliar non-catholics began with Roncalli.

Although the True Catholics have not been absent from warning the “new” wannabes, it is the 1940-1950 Catholics who were first & most attacked by Satan. With Masses, encyclicals, essays, & evidence Pope Pius XII was holding back the "deluge," attempting to convince them they must abandon their weak uncatholic teachings, Catholics fought & continue to fight immense temptation by Satan in his takeover of the hierarchy & laity. The ‘takeover” was by methods no one expected during the 1920's-1930's, infiltration into the "chairs" (Superiors of seminaries & universities) and infiltration of known homosexual candidates into seminaries, formerly refused admission WITHOUT exception!
[see catholiccounterpoint, http://www.catholiccounterpoint.com/fath …
also see, Communist Bella Dodd, returned Catholic, 1948, by Bishop Fulton Sheen, she placed 1,100 homosexual seminarians into seminaries in the 1930’s.] Today, they are bishops and cardinals, even popes. call Maffei.

This Great Apostasy, the only one, now in progress will have NO "second chance restoration." Many pseudo-traditionalists have this wrong, such as the “fatima crowd.” The Apocalypse does not call for new “scripture” which they prefer to imply (see the Douay Rheims Bible). St. John writes, Ch. 12 (another clue, "12"). in metaphor, that the: [abbrev.]
... "woman clothed with the sun (son = Christ)
...shall in great pain (the early martyrs, et al)
...with the moon under feet (she is guardian of the Church)
...garland of twelve stars (the Apostles; successors)
...cries out in pain (brings forth the Faithful to Christ)
...to rule all nations (convert all to the doctrine of Christ)
...caught up to God etc. (Ascending Christ in Human nature to heaven)

Sadly, we are limited on y@hoo to really help them. Many work on behalf of the Impostor Church. Who are they? Those now appearing on atheist television, which now hires “catholics” [never hired before Vatican 2] to display their newchurch message. Conciliars on y@hoo achieve high fame for their uncatholic writings, voted up by their unwitting newchurch helpers. It’s highest point “gatherers” are Conciliars to a man, heretics all; have you noticed?

do you believe in st malachy profecy? if you do...?

ive been reading about malachy's profecies, and its kind of scary, i mean when i think about the 2012 as the end of the world i think about my family my litle sister my parents my fiance i really really love them, im scared of only having 4 years left do be with them but i also understand that if we die we are going to be with God and thats pretty good, is it a sin to be scared of the end of these times? lots of people are telling me that its just bullshit that the world s going to be the same that dont all of the st malachys profecies were right and that some people also think that the last pope that st malachy wrote is Benedict but im pretty worried.. how come catholics arent worried? i am proud to be a catholic but im so scared, i also read about the 3 days of darkness and i dont want to be in here if its going to happen or when the church falls as st malachy predicted .. i just want to be happy and knowing me i know i wont be until the 2015 when everything had passed but if its the end i dont want to be the last 4 years worried.. i have many dreams i want to be a mother im so young, so if you do believe in st malachy profecies how do you live every day knowing that? the only thing that makes me feel better somehow is the bibble it says that there are a lot of false prophets and that no one really knows when the end is comign just the Father.. but isnt Malachy a saint i dont think that he is a false prophet is he is one?..
something that also freaks me out a lot is the secrets of Fatima..

Some say we are currently at the time which has been foretold and waited for many centuries. A time wherein all prophecies about the end of times, the apocalypse, the end of age – whatever you choose to call it – will soon converge. If that is true, there is no better way to know the truth than reading a good book on 2012.

There are numerous books written about the coming end of times and plenty more are expected to be published as the year 2012 draws to a close. But be vigilant – not all books are good, there are only a few that you can rely on and these have been around for many centuries.

    The Holy Bible.

The Holy Bible has a very good record of keeping its prophecies and predictions. The Old and the New Testament both provide prophecies that have been fulfilled before and others that are yet to be revealed.
