statues of St joseph and Mary in ST Mary's catholic church were saved in the 1889 johnstown flood. Replicas of the statues were Manufacturered by Boyslton at 853 Washington St.Boston Ma.I do have statues of each that were manufactured by them.

Call the church. You might either get an answer at the parsonage or the church or there might be a recording giving service times. Also, service at my Lutheran church is at 10:30 which has been the common time of other churches I've been members of for Christmas morning service. I say go by at nine and see as there might be something on the church sign as well.

[I have never been into religion before.] So while sitting in St. Mary's Catholic Church today, I found all of it, everything that happened and all it had to offer very welcoming, and decided to start going to church. I was wondering if anyone would mind breaking down the Catholic faith for me. The religon, the reachings, the saints, and rules. Please and thank you.
You should go to ask the priest at your friend's church to help you with all of that. Go to a viable source, someone you ask here may mislead you or attempt to dash your faith against the rocks of disbelief.
I see the name everywhere, but I've never known exactly who is being honored--is it the Virgin Mary? Is it Mary, mother of John (who is the only "St. Mary" without an additional part to her name, such as "Magdalene" or "Bartholomea of Florcence," mentioned on www.catholic.org)?
It would seem strange that it is used to refer to Mary, the Mother of God, (I mean, we don't ever say "St. Jesus") but are there really 3.7 million Google hits for "St. Mary" and 1.2 million more for "Saint Mary" if the name refers to the apostle John's mother?

Saint Mary usually refers to the Blessed Virgin Mary, the mother of Jesus Christ.
Usually other Marys are referred to with more descriptions, such as Saint Mary Magdalene.
