Are there any catholic apparel stores in Houston, TX?
POPE

My sister is confirming on Sunday and my mom didn't order enough stoles for everyone. Below is the link to which we are looking for. If you could help me, that would be great. I'm looking for an actual store, not online.

High End Catholic Schools in Toronto?
POPE

I really want to transfer to catholic school in grade ten, but so many of the ones I've checked out have been super gina gina, like Lorretto Abbey. What are some Catholic Schools in Toronto that I would fit in?

I'm 14, dad makes 150thou a year and mom is a housewife, we're not rich but my father is also very high up socially, our family is close with many high layers, proffesional cooks, and authors like Kenneth Oppel. I love to shop at stores like Juicy Couture, American Apparel, Urban Outfitters, Ugg Australia, Abercrombie, American Eagle, Arizia, and Coach, Lacoste, and Ralph Lauren. I'm looking for an all girls school with a brother school, but mixed is great too (i loveee boys )

Thanks :)

damn i wish my father made that much and i could shop at those places, and know high ppl, LOL well if you ever happen to be in nyc and you know ppl plz share, LOL :)

Is This Appropriate for Catholic School Dress Down Day?

We usually wear uniforms, but tomorrow is dress-down. Do you think this shirt is appropriate for school? It's a band shirt.

Um, no. For a Catholic school I'd bet anything on them sending you home to change or make you wear it inside out. Any questions you have about what is or is not allowed should really be addressed to the school and get THEIR take on it.

Protestant Christians do not recognize the Apocryphal books to have scriptural authority. Simple as that.

If I see one more girl with this trend, I'll scream. What are your most hated trends?

I HATE HATE HATE it when girls at my school (which is a preppy catholic middle school) wear long socks (like the ones that come from American Apparel and cost $16 for one pair) under Uggs with skinny jeans then tuck the jeans into the socks.
What are some of your least favorite trends?
oh, and I forgot to mention my loathing of all things Ed Hardy. Tacky and freaking hideous!

I... have never seen that one, luckily. I absolutely hate the white ankle socks and Adidas mandals trend. I thought socks and sandals was BAD, now it's trendy? Its hideous.

Pubs in Limerick are being allowed to open on a Good Friday for the first time because a crucial rugby match is taking place. Is rugby now bigger than the Catholic church?

In Ireland the thought of crossing the threshold of a licensed premises on Good Friday and ordering a pint carries a delicious whiff of the forbidden. Nobody would expect to turn into a pillar of salt when the first sup of Murphy’s passed their lips on the most sacred day in the Church calendar, but if it happened we would probably feel it was only as we deserved.

So a court ruling that pubs in Limerick are to be allowed trade on Good Friday for the convenience of 26,000 rugby fans attending a match in the city was a bombshell. Feeling the full force of the recession – across the country it’s estimated that each day another pub closes – bar-owners in Limerick, the home of Munster rugby club, petitioned a local court for a dispensation. A crunch tie with rivals Leinster qualified, they argued, as a special event and could thus exempted from the prohibition on pubs opening.
