My son goes to a small (34 students) school in central Massachusetts. The kids all sing in the choir and go to mass every week as part of the curriculum. It serves grades 4-12 and we need to get some serious donations to keep the school afloat. It's not a rich part of the state and our silent auction was a modest sucess for fundraising. Most of the kids used to be homeschooled. Raising tuition isn't an option because many would be priced out.

Besides the music and the language of the lyrics. Orthodox choirs are made up of Adult mails only. No kids and no castrato voices. Also there are no instruments whatsoever in the eastern church. Also the Orthodox choirs are small maybe up to ten people. Some big Churches have two or three choirs in different positions in the church.

A year ago I heard a song sung by a Catholic Boys Choir that I think was titled "Jubilate". I do not remember the name of the choir, and while I am not sure if the title is even correct, I do remember finding a youtube video of the song at the time with boys walking in single file in a Catholic church with brown hooded robes while singing this song.

I currently go to the Sunday mass at the protestant church and singing in a choir at the catholic church at the same time. Is this sound alright to you?
The reason I do this is because protestant church don't sing much and I like to sing.
As long as membership isn't a requirement to be in the choir at the Catholic church, then sure.
