The collection plates are full. The Catholic Church has millions for lawsuits, but what don't they have is any money to give to the poor people of Mexico ? Why want the Cathlolic's take care of each other ? There are more than enough members in America to supply any help to any families in Mexico who might need this help without them enduring very much hardship.
The Catholic Church has for years been getting bolder about spreading their agenda but they still hide behind their tax-exempt status. I think that any church no matter what denomination should automatically lose their tax-exempt status if it can be proved that they have broken the law. Hidding illegals and giving them aide qualifies as breaking the law.

Sins of the fathers ; A nun's sensational book exposes sexual exploitation and other sordid details from the Church in Kerala.
The book contains lurid descriptions of sexual perversions performed on her by priests and fellow nuns. The scandal has been magnified because it involves the all-powerful Catholic Church in a state with a large Christian population which supplies about 60 per cent of the country's priests and nuns
Priests are no different from the men who are addicted to porn, then go and act on that energy. The paganism interwoven in the catholic church has made a fine home for Satan and his demons. That damn rosary and holy water have no power, because it is not from God.
The nuns ain't a great deal different from liberal women who'lll use sex as a weapon for money or power (in this case in the form of a book).
I dont understand why, if America LOVES sexual exploitation - why do they give a damn if the church does it?
I asked this question early today and received only the dictionay explanation and not the history.

The earliest surviving usage of the term "Catholic" can be found in St. Ignatius of Antioch's epistle to the Smyrnaeans (c. 107 AD):
"Wherever the bishop appear, there let the multitude be; even as wherever Christ Jesus is, there is the Catholic Church."
As you have already been told, "Catholic" means universal. In Catholicism, each diocese is also a Church, and the whole Church is the Catholic Church, or the universal Church. We Catholics actually do use the term "universal Church" when we want to distinguish something that pertains to the entire Catholic Church as opposed to a diocesan Church (for example, there are ten Holy Days of Obligation, aside from Sundays, on the universal Church calendar; a diocesan Church calendar will differ.)

Let#39;s Have Another Round Of RNC “Office Supplies” - Swampland ...
Listed on the report in the category of "office supplies" are purchases from a New England winery and a Capitol Hill liquor store, as well as more than $3,800 from a Florida clothing store. The category of "meals" also seems to extend to the sartorial, with a $450 purchase from a high-end Manhattan boutique -- one that has no restaurant or take-out shop on the premises -- falling into that category, as listed on the RNC's reports to the FEC. That purchase, as well as one for more than $500 from the Florida clothing store, are attributed to RNC Deputy Finance Director Debbie LeHardy, who, according to the report, was reimbursed for them.
Bout time to let this story go Michael. I'm sure if we looked through Time's employees expensing we would find some questionable stuff too, just...

The world is flat, the sun is not a the center of the solar system and masturbation causes blindness? Just a few “positions” taken by the church over the years lacking credibility. These people are sick, criminal and should be dealt with as one deals with vermin. So much for the meek inheriting the earth, Father McFeelme? Seems the meek and weakest get raped and abused by perverted slime in robes, then discredit the victim when the perverts are outed?
Decompose in hell Rome!
Lawyers point to a letter the Vatican sent to bishops in May 2001 clearly stating the 1962 instruction was in force until then. The letter is signed by Cardinal Ratzinger, the most powerful man in Rome beside the Pope and who heads the Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith – the office which ran the Inquisition in the Middle Ages.
