do you have devotions to the sacred heart of Jesus or Virgin Mary? I mean special novenas or prayers to your saints or devotions? what are the popular devotions in the orthodox christianity? do you have processions? does a catholic can take the communion in an orthodox church?
Yes, there are devotions, prayers, and novenas to Mary, the other saints, and to Jesus. Novenas were originally a Catholic thing, but they have since spread to Orthodoxy as well. In fact the Immaculate Conception Novena begins on Nov. 30. There are processions too, often more elaborate than those in Catholicism. They tend to have banners and icons and such.
Catholics are not allowed to take communion in an Orthodox church, however. The Catholic Church recognizes Orthodox communion as valid, but Orthodoxy sees Catholics as being in a state of disunion with Christ's Church - a product of the original schism. Thus until a Catholic comes back to the Orthodox Church and repairs the separation, he or she is asked not to share in the Eucharist during an Orthodox Mass.

I'm Catholic and am aware that the Rosary is the most powerful devotion around. It's been described by EVERYONE as the "most powerful weapon against Satan." So what is the use of praying other devotions, such as the Chaplet of St. Michael the Archangel, etc?
If the other prayers and devotions are less powerful than the Rosary, why use them? Why not just stick with the Rosary, rain, hail, or shine? By praying other devotions, aren't you just participating in a "second rate" devotion - because it acquires less graces... when compared to the Rosary and the graces Our Lady can acquire for us from God?
(In anticipation of any uninformed Protestants reading this post and hoping to get a word in: Catholics DO NOT, and never will, worship Mary... please don't waste mine and your time by posting such anti- Christian ideas)
You can certainly pray only the Rosary if you wish -- but in doing so you are missing out on the richness and depth of devotional prayer available to you.
I'm not certain why you are referring to the Rosary as "most powerful" and by that inferring that other devotions are "second rate". The graces obtained from praying the Rosary, as in any other devotion, aren't on a point system wherein if you do X, God gives you Y. A single devotion prayed with great faith is more effective than a string of novenas rattled off automatically.
Besides, other devotions are meaningful and "powerful" depending upon a person's need. Someone with a family member in the armed forces or police force will find much comfort in a novena to St. Michael for their protection. A person with cancer turns to St. Peregrine.
Then there's the chaplet of Divine Mercy, with its benefit for not just the person praying it but the entire world.
We are not compelled or required to pray any of the popular devotions; we do so out of faith, to become closer to God. In this we do well to remember Matthew 6:33. This is the ultimate purpose for all devotional prayer, and the source of graces.
"But seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things will be given you besides."
It doesn't seem like many families still pray together these days, which is such a shame.
Sadly, I don't. I pray my own rosary daily. My wife and I were married 3 years ago and during her former (annulled) marriage, they did not do it either. Since my stepson was not used to it, I did not push it, but I should have, now we are out of habit. Thankfully, we found a good school for him where he is praying a few decades of the rosary daily, so he is getting used to it. Now I just need to do it and hopefully my wife will be with me on it. My son's temperment is quite sanguine and I think he will go with the new trend at home and at school. He needs that. There is something to be said about being easily influenced for a young child, as long as he is around good people, there is a good side to that type of temperment. And the grace will help us all keep out of sin, and sinful tendencies in our own family's microcosm of a sub-culture.
I think a family prayer time is the answer to the anti-Christian ideals that your average family bombarded with through the media these days. Like St. Teresa of Avila always advised: you cannot continue to pray and sin at the same time. One or the other will give way!

Father Dylan#39;s Sermons: 2nd April 2010, Good Friday, Shaftesbury
But even today, when we focus on His death, it is important to remember that if He was STILL dead we would not be here at all today. It is because He ROSE from the dead, because He actually showed Himself to be what He claimed –namely God Himself, it is because He is all-powerful that His death is of such significance for us. It is because He is all-powerful that we look back to His death and see what a free act it was on His part, that we see that it was something that He chose to do for us, that we see that it was an act of love for us, that we see that it was the sacrifice that takes our sins away, that reconciles us back to God. Of course, it’s possible to not feel gratitude at all. We all know the annoying feeling of someone ignoring the good we have done for them. And...
The Hidden Hand Behind Bad Catholic Music - Christian Forums
Seriously, the disaster of music and liturgy in Catholic parishes is one difficulty I had to overcome painfully. Even the celebrations of the 1979 Book of Common Prayer (which was a radical re-writing, analogous and contemporaneous with the 1970 Roman Missal) that we had were done with far more solemnity and beauty, the hymns were generally pre-20th century and celebration was ad orientem . I am glad that I found a traditional parish (FSSP) where the homilies are poignant and strictly orthodox -- there is no "talking down" to the congregation, the music is beautiful and the liturgy is truly worshipful. Speaking of which, I must get to bed so that I can get up in time to go down for the Good Friday devotions and Mass tomorrow! Most contemporary Christian music is more musically...
