I was baptized and confirmed as a catholic when I was younger ( like 5-6 years ago) after that my family stopped going to church and I became detached from anything involving the church, about five months ago I decided I wanted to go tochurch again, even If it meant going alone. Unfortunately I don't remeber a single thing about Catholicism so I went to a completely different religion, the LDS faith. I almost got converted but just decided to leave and go back to Catholicism. The only problem being that I don't know Anything and I might be too old for classes, so I'm asking for your help, just tell me everything you possiblycan so I can return to church, thank you and God Bless
No one is too old to learn.
If you are interested in learning more about the Catholic Church, contact your local parish and ask for information about their adult education or RCIA Inquiry group.

Me and 2 of my friends would like to have or school dress code changed so that girls can wear ties. Our principal said she would be more than happy to change it if we found information on other private schools that let girls wear ties. Any information would help!
how about hogwarts? :)
Do you head straight for anti-Catholic propaganda or do you try to understand the Catholic viewpoint by first asking Catholics and using Catholic sources?

regarding the killing of the 2 soldiers and the PSNI officer?
with such strained relations between the police in Northern Ireland and the nationalist community due to the murder and torture of innocent catholics organised by RUC, the british army and loyalist terrorists
Q1, Do you think the catholic/nationalists trust the PSNI enough to pass on information if they had it?
Q2, Do you agree, that the way to end real IRA activity in NI is to win the trust of the nationalists?
to answer your first question the answer would be no,
to answer your second question the answer, the answer would be yes
I am trying to get a name or location of the Catholic church in that area for geneology family research. All I know is that it was located in Arzheim, Rheinland, Preussia in the 1800's.
There seem to be more than one Arzheims, but I guess the one you are looking for is Arzheim close to Koblenz, heres its website (german only) :
http://www.koblenz-arzheim.de/
However, I do not understand what Preussia is supposed to mean.If you mean Prussia, thats not anywhere near that region.
Arzheim itself, formerly independent, has become a part of Koblenz in the 60s.Koblenz website here (partly english) :
http://www.koblenz.de/touristik_kultur/k oblenz_allgemeine_infos_e.html
Found one church in Arzheim called St. Adelgundis or Aldegundis, but no adress, sorry.I also don't know whether thats the only one in Arzheim
Its probably best to inquire with the Koblenz tourist office about that church :

Vatican Report | CatInfor.com
World Youth Day is celebrating its 25th birthday this year. On this week’s Vatican Report we’ll talk about how an idea of Pope John Paul II has been embraced by his successor, Pope Benedict XVI. I’m John Thavis, Catholic News Service Rome bureau chief.
And I’m Cindy Wooden, CNS Rome correspondent. In 1985, Pope John Paul came up with an innovation that quickly became a tradition. He called for a gathering of young people in Rome on Palm Sunday, with the idea of mobilizing them as a pastoral force for the church. The Pope didn’t think he had to energize them — they had plenty of energy. What he wanted was to build a better connection between the church’s leadership and the younger generations. And in many ways, that turned out to be a personal connection.
That’s right, as World Youth Day grew, the Polish Pope became the guest of honor at these events. In addition to celebrating liturgies, he met informally with young people, answered their questions, and he would joke with them, listen to their music and even hold hands and dance with them. Then the Pope took this event on the road. He presided over the first major international celebration of World Youth Day in Argentina in 1987, and more than a million people showed up. That was the first in a series of mega-gatherings that have taken place on every continent, every two or three years.
