I'm doing a Catholic magazine for my religion class. The magazine is going to be a poverty edition. Need a good title for a Catholic magazine
"C'mere, Little Altar Boy Monthly"?
The Immaculate Messenger Magazine is assisting the Church in the New Evangelization by providing relevant articles for helping us with our faith ...
ugh i just cant think right now. Im supposed to come up with a title for a educational magazine whose mission is to spread faith to the world. Thanks!
*Two By Two (for the way in which Jesus sent the disciples out to preach)
*The Beacon (on a hill)
*The Good News (for the Gospels)
*Catholicism Today
*Catholicism Now
*Living Saints (for all of us)
*A Voice in the Wilderness (for John the Baptist, crying out the way of the Lord)
*The Narrow Gate (for the way to Heaven)
*Fertile Ground (for the seeds that yield a hundredfold)
I think I like the last one best. Good luck!
Mister Wells, a Gay rights activist has filled a complaint with the Canadian Human Rights Commission , against the Catholic Insight Magazine,Wells objects the fact that the Catholic Insight magazine recieves funding from Heritage Canada Publication Assistance Program. What about Gay and Lesbian magazines like Fab, a Gay and lesbian lifestyle magazine that also gets funding from the goverment. Where does it say in the Canadian Charter of Rights that affirming a certain lifestyle is mandatory in order to get publication funding from the goverment?
The Human Rights Commission has dropped the case against Catholic Insight . The Magazine is now considering taking legal action against the complaintant
This is Hull's second failed complaint to thr Human Rights Commission. The first was against a talk radio host who objected to taxpaers money being used to promote the Gay curriculum in schoola. He also defended traditional family values and morals on his radio program.
So I take it that Heritage Canada PAP is a government agency. In which case - as an American and the way I see things from this point of view - I don't see why they're funding either publication.
And the flip side is, if you're gonna fund one, then why not the other? Why not all publications? Wny not my brilliant new (unpublished) novel, "Jane, if you don't come out of the bathroom right now, I'm charging you rent."
Price: $75.00
no Offense to any party whether it is from christianity or Islam
just ask the muslim opinion .
Thanks
If other religions cant say Allah...(we dont want to say that, we'd prefer tuhan because its disrespecting our religion)
Back to where I was, if other religions cant say Allah (good la) we cant sing Negaraku Song fully.
If we cant sing Negaraku Song fully, the largest race (population wise) will make noise and look down towards the rest...
Then the rest will leave Malaysia and the ones that didnt leave will celebrate and laugh loudly at racial jokes...
After a month...The whole of Malaysia goes down the toilet bowl because ....(u all know why right...)
I have to make a religion magazine as my final assignment for religion class..

(“From the Heart of the Church”), his apostolic constitution on Catholic universities, progress has been made in articulating and reinvigorating the Catholic identity of the more than two hundred and thirty Catholic universities and colleges in the United States. Still, significant work remains to be done, especially in clarifying the distinctive intellectual foundations on which any university that calls itself Catholic must rest.
Once it was commonplace to assume that secularization and scientific and economic progress would eventually stamp out religion along with other “superstitions.” Yet the death of religion, to paraphrase Mark Twain, has been greatly exaggerated. Both here and across the globe, religion continues to influence nearly every aspect of society. To be sure, modernity has purified religion of some of its pretensions. In the West, the church now recognizes the autonomy of science, defends the separation of church and state, and affirms religious freedom. At the same time, the church has demonstrated great resilience. Religion evidently is here to stay.
