Is the Crown of Thorns in paintings mainly a Catholic thing?
la cathédrale sainte-Croix

And also the use of Latin in the paintings

No.... it's mainly a Bible "thing".

Matthew 27:29
Mark 15:17
John 19:2
John 19:5

As for Latin...

See John 19:20 - The sign above Jesus' head when He was on the Cross was written in Hebrew, Greek AND Latin. This shows there were people at the Crucifixion who could read Latin.

Catholics get all of this from the Bible.

Why does David Rothschild look like Jesus in all the Catholic Paintings?
la cathédrale sainte-Croix

I am a well reseached conspiracy theorist.

hmm, because THEY think they are the literal offspring of jesus lineage
when i see many people, i see jesus in the faces alot, it doesnt have to be the most wealthy either.
i like to behold the works of christ MORE in the deeds ofmen and women. this is sanctification and faith.
the Rothchilds are not faithful, nor are they sons and daughters of God.

Why does Catholic Church have beautiful religious paintings and art but a lot of Protestant churches don't
Granus Tower, Aachener Rathaus, Aachen, Germany

because the catholic church is the original church while the protestant church is too distracted by it's many dividing agendas

i'm looking for a webpage with pictures or paintings of catholic saints who look queer, affemin or transgender
Aachener Rathaus, Aachen, Germany

Oh come on...they all "look" queer or effeminate...they're all wearing skirts and dresses!

What, that's not enough?

Well that's about all you're going to get.

Who are some famous Catholic and Protestant Painters in the 16th Century Europe (Protestant Reformation)?
Steeple of Pfarramt St. Foillan Pfarrbüro Aachen-Mitte

Who are some really famous Catholic Painters and some Protestant Painter from the 1500 or 16 century in Europe.

i need to compare catholic and protestant art during the Protestant Reformation and I'm not sure which 2 Painters and Paintings would be a good choose to use.

PLS HELP!!!!

THANK YOU!

You have a major problem finding artist who did religious art in protestant areas during and immediately after the Reformation. Reason is, most of that art was for churches and protestants were jerking all of the religious art out of churches (cite: Karl Holl CULTURAL SIGNIFICANCE OF THE REFORMATION and Garside ZWINGLI AND THE ARTS)

there would still have been painters of religious art in Catholic areas, but probably the most overworked one would have been the one chosen to paint clothes on all of Michaelangelo's nudes in the Sistine Chapel.

I feel so disorganized. I should probably do something about that.

Probably going to take tomorrow off work – I’ve got no expiration date sticker on my front windshield and they’ve been cracking down on Fort Meade. We were going to go by on Saturday but the line was out the door. So I’ll try late morning today and then come home and walk. Probably have dinner with C at his office.

Finally I need to write up my resume on the USAJobs site so I can apply for the DMA job. Oooo a 14. I don’t stand a chance, I don’t guess. I’ve probably killed my career accepting this downgrade.
