Does anyone know of a progressive Catholic parish in the Riverside/Brookfield/LaGrange area of the Chicago suburbs? We are looking for a parish in which the priests give "down-to-earth" homilies. Also, we are looking for a parish that is accepting of different races and family backgrounds.


St. Barbara's in Brookfield has always been a great parish. I don't know who the current priest there is but the Sisters of St. Joseph of LaGrange have always staffed that parish and school and their presence has made it a wonderful parish.
