The theme is Good News For All.
I am thinking of having Jesus in the center and adding details around
Sounds good.
The posters the kids made for Catholic Schools Week were black poster board with white mosaic type paper cut outs depicting the Stations of the Cross. They turned out really cool.

I got a question for religious Catholics. Let's say you marry me... You think I'm a great person at first, but then I turn out to be the most annoying asshole you could ever dream of. I let heavy metal play in the house at max volume, I spray skunk spray all over your best clothes, and put up posters of "immoral" acts on the bedroom wall. Would you really refuse to get a divorce ? If you would refuse to, how would you deal with me ?
Well it would depend on the circumstances of the wedding. If you had all these tendencies before the wedding but hid them from me, then because you deceived me into marrying you the marriage would be invalid.
However if at the time of the wedding i knew these things about you then the marriage would be valid and a valid marriage can never be dissolved.
We regularly see questions here where the poster thinks that evolution is not fact because it's 'just a theory'.
Or where a poster thinks 'agnostic' and 'atheist' are on the same continuum, instead of being positions about two different things.
Or where a poster thinks that Catholics aren't Christians.
Are there people out there who correctly make one or two of these distinctions, but not the rest?
Or is the stupid concentrated?
It doesn't help when you have some people misusing their own label.
I've met plenty of people who identified as "Catholic" yet couldn't tell you the difference between "Catholic" and "Christian" (usually falling for the same dumb assumption that the two terms were mutually exclusive).
Likewise, I've seen some atheists here who misuse the term "atheism" to mean "rejection of not only all notions of deity, but also all notions of spirituality, metaphysics, etc." These are the same people who would yell at me for owning a coffee mug with my zodiac sign on it.
Why would a child want to become a catholic monk?
This is part of an rs poster that i have to do.
To be brief i want the point of an everyday child.
-The child probably sees the Catholic monk living out his Baptismal promises and feels called to do the same.
-Most children have never committed a mortal sin, therefore never losing their Baptismal grace...therefore having God living inside of them. If they are this pure then they may see that the Catholic monks practice this purity and strive to please God and serve all.
-The child sees good and wants to be good.
-The child may have the call from God to be religious later in life...or to even be consecrated to God by God.
God bless+
I went to my nephew's christening yesterday and inside the church (Catholic) there were huge posters about abortion some of them were for adoption agencies and some of them said things like "being catholic means being pro-life".... I don't understand why they do this, when there are bigger issues out there.... Has anyone else seen this happen in other churches?
Why don't they focus on other things like poverty, and children who can't read, teens who need alternatives to drugs, disabled people?
I mean seriously why is abortion such a huge issue to some people?
I understand the Catholic church is opposed to it, but why make it the issue of all issues when there are other problems in the world... I think that alot of bad things happening to children who are already born is more of a priority then a woman's personal healthcare decsion.
When thousands of unborn babies die every single day, it is a huge issue. Abortion is the greatest genocide in history. In Nazi Germany few people worked to stop the genocide and similarly, few people want to hear about it and work to stop it nowadays.
Why focus primarily on abortion? Because if the right to life of a child is taken away then all other rights will be lost as well. Have you ever seen an abortion? Have you seen how horrible and graphic it is? It is simply pure murder. Visit the website of Priests for Life and look on there for pictures from abortions. People need to see the truth and how horrible it is.

Vandals tear down pro-life posters and attack Australian ...
.- A pro-life campaigner in Australia was assaulted with rocks and a waste bin after he recorded people taking down pro-life election posters. He suffered a possible broken arm in the attack, which caused pro-life candidate Trevor Grace to voice concern about the well-being of his supporters.
Grace is an independent with the Save the Unborn party running for the Upper House of South Australia.
One of his supporters, an election volunteer in Adelaide, filmed youths jumping up to a campaign poster high on a telephone pole and ripping it down.
The poster in question showed a 3-D sonogram of an unborn child with X-shaped lines drawn over it. It is captioned “Save the Unborn,” encouraging a vote for Grace and publicizing the web address of the campaign, abortSA.com.
The election volunteer’s video, posted on the site of the Australian Broadcasting Corporation (ABC), then shows one of the youths throwing rocks and a large waste bin at the cameraman while shouting.
...Poster Ideas for Catholic Films: Delivering the Film?s Theme and ...
Poster printing is one of the most essential factors used by filmmakers and producers to promote certain films. Regardless of the kind of movie to watch, people tend to look at printed posters to seek for reliable information about a specific show. Often times, these printed materials provide a hint of what a specific movie is all about, providing a list of actors and actresses, and the names of writers, producers and directors.
To be more specific, there are many Catholic movies that people can watch. Most of these movies come along with posters and other promotional materials to entice viewers. These kinds of movies, like other films, have different poster ideas that are able to communicate to potential viewers. Furthermore, prints can give a hint of a certain film’s message. Most of the time, the poster layout or design is the one that appears on the front cover of a DVD copy of a certain movie.
