When do they start primary school in UK this year? (I'm talking about Catholic primary schools)?
Our Lady's Primary School Sunshine 1967 - Grade 3

I thought everyone will start on the 3rd Sept but I read somewhere online recently that Catholic schools may have different start dates? How true is that? I tried contacting my daughter's school these days but no one answers - I think because everyone's off on their summer 6 week holidays. Does your child attend a Catholic primary school in UK and will he/she be starting on 3rd Sept??
My eldest daughter is starting reception this year in a Catholic primary school.

Most schools in England go back on 3rd September but it's possible that there are local variations or that a school might have decided to use 3rd September for staff training.
Why not contact your local Child Services and see if they have any information about the particular school you want to know about.

do i chose the catholic primary school, the large local public school, or the small public primary school?

My first of four children will be starting primary school next year, I dont know whether to chose a catholic primary school or the large local public primary school or the small local public primary school.

It depends on how well each of these schools educates children. In my area, the Catholic schools did a better job than the public schools, but that's not always the case. Do your research, then you'll know.

Can I put my son into a catholic primary school even though we r not religious?

All his friends are going to this school after the summer and wondering if it would cause any problems?

I'm answering this assuming you're based in the UK, you need to speak to the school about their admissions criteria. Most Catholic schools even though they're state maintained most be applied to individually. Some will insist that parents be practising Catholics & even seek references from the parish priest. You also need to comfortable with the ethos of the school & find out what their RE lessons are like & if you would want him to attend them.

Can my child be baptized in the United church and still attend Catholic primary school in Ontario?

Unless the particular school that you're choosing has rules about who can attend or not, most Catholic schools allow children of many denominations to attend. Of course, if this school has Mass for the students, your child could not (and should not) participate in communion and the like.

Catholic schools smarter with govt building fund - CathNews

A newspaper report comparing building costs in a Catholic primary school and a public counterpart shows that the government school pays consultants twice as much.

The Australian compared western Sydney primary schools Holy Family, in Emerton, and Lalor Park Public. Both received $2 million under the federal government's Building the Education Revolution program to build new halls.

A breakdown of costs provided by the Catholic Education Office for the Parramatta diocese shows the non-construction costs at Holy Family school total about $170,000 and include fees to the architect, who acts as project manager, and to consultants, such as structural and electrical engineers, surveyors, the council and certifiers.
