Please DON'T answer if your school is in Edmonton or Oshawa, but you can answer if your school is in Brampton or Toronto.

Inclusion policy with the Catholic School board?
(Untitled)

In my local catholic school board they have an inclusion policy but lack the resources to provide in class individual or additional care to special needs kids. Any families running into the same problem? As a catholic how does this make you feel?
ps. i am not catholic my family is

and were Canadian so it costs us nothing but i am wondering if its the same in other boards.

And THIS is why Catholic schools cost so much. Parents want their special needs kids catered to but don't want to pay the HUGE extra costs themselves (only what everyone else pays) SO the cost gets shuffled onto everyone and skyrockets.

If your kid is special needs and you are too good for public school - PAY FOR IT YOURSELF!

Does Anyone have an exam review for grade 12 Morality. im in the york catholic district school board.?
(Untitled)

Ive been swamped with all my other courses and havent found time to make a review, please help.

Am I mistaken or are you attempting to cheat on a test about morality?

May God have mercy on your soul.

With love in Christ.

  • Catholic board has two employees surpass the $200000 mark ...

The St. Clair Catholic District School Board didn't increase its number of employees on the sunshine list in 2009.

However, the local school board saw two of its 52 employees on the list of $100,000 earners surpass the $200,000 mark.

Paul Wubben, director of education, was paid $211,717 in 2009, and Jim McKenzie, associate director, corporate services, earned $203,444.15.

Their salaries were both higher than the $199,165.01 paid to Lambton Kent District School Board director of education Gayle Stucke.

Superintendents of education were the next highest paid staff at the Catholic board.

Deborah Crawford earned $163,918.46, Frank Leddy earned $162.859.96 and Ann Sutton earned $163,499.13.

These salaries are all higher than the top superintendent salary of $158,322.58 paid to their public school board counterparts.

Catholic students take action for themselves and others - The ...

Students at Holy Name Catholic School in Pembroke have a unique way of sharing their love of learning with a distant part of the world.

They and their teachers collect their spare change to make a donation that sends two children in Peru to school each year. Holy Name has been participating in the "Change for Peace" campaign for the past 10 years and has collected approximately $6,000 during that time.

Closer to home, the students are also committed to "Stay Active", an intramural noon-hour sports program that organizes pupils in different houses to participate in a friendly floor hockey competition. Others head out for a good walk as members of the Mileage Club. They record the distance they cover, and are proud to report that some students have already walked as far as 40 kilometres.
