Are the catholic cathechisms spirit or the imagination of men?
Behind-the-Scenes: Lighthouse Catholic Media

We know Gods word is spirit
Proverbs 4:20-22 The word is medicine to the flesh.

John 1:1 In the beginning the word was God and God was the word.

John 6-63 The words I speak to you are spirit.

Well, let me give you an example, and you decide.

1) God, infinitely perfect and blessed in himself, in a plan of sheer goodness freely created man to make him share in his own blessed life.

This is the very first sentence of the very first doctrine. You tell me - imagination, or truth?

Does the Catholic Church believe in the baptism in the Holy Spirit? How much do they charge?
Behind-the-Scenes: Lighthouse Catholic Media

The Catholic Church charges about 100 bucks to baptise someone by water, so I wonder how much do they charge for the baptism in the Holy Spirit.

I'm catholic and I was wondering, does a person's spirit float the earth until the funeral and wake?
Behind-the-Scenes: Lighthouse Catholic Media

I'm catholic and I was wondering, does a person's spirit float the earth until the wake and funeral? Does a person's spirit know who showed up at their wake and funeral?

No.

The Catholic Church teaches that the particular judgment is the eternal retribution received by each soul at the moment of death, in accordance with that person's faith and works.

why Baptism In Holy spirit did not work on Catholic priests, one that molested children?
Behind-the-Scenes: Lighthouse Catholic Media

It said in Bible being born again of Holy spirit ..so after that you change spiritually by some spiritual power so big..Baptism change Man completely ...and is so important, that pepole without baptism will Go to hell...So what hapend to does Priests that molested children

You really think dunkin somebody in water will make a difference in their life? Religion is man made, no more ignorant than throwing a person into a volcano to appease a god. Pedophiles are what they are. If there were a God (which I doubt) would he let children suffer and have the perverts live to bear his name. It's all garbage to keep the masses in line with politics. Why does the Pope sit on a throne of gold, yet millions of catholics starve? Wouldn't a God slap the pope, if no other reason for being an idiot?

Earth Science Class is Crushing my Catholic Spirit?
Behind-the-Scenes: Lighthouse Catholic Media

I hate my 8th grade earth science class because although my teacher and I are devout Catholics I feel like I'm doubting everything I've ever learned. The story of creation? Due to the Big Bang Theory, it has holes. Adam and Eve? Holes. God loving humans, when there are so many stars and other forms of life in the world? HOLES!!

Don't get me wrong, I love Jesus, I sing in my youth choir at Church every sunday, and I want so hard to be filled with nothing but faith. but my earth science class is making me question my religion and is ruining my Christmas.

Please if you have any advice on how to set me straight, keep my spirit true to god and get me to be strong this year in this course and keep to my Catholic ways, I'd appreciate it!
Your answers are very interesting, and I appreciate that you are sharing your thoughts and knowledge with me. But pelase, if you are going to comment to insult the fact that I have no faith and post negative things against me for asking, stop wasting your time. I came to you guys for help better understanding our world, and I dont need people bashing my judgement and religion infront of me. Those of you who are being understanding of my inquiries, I thank you.

One day a group of scientists got together and decided that man had come a long way and no longer needed God. So they picked one scientist to go and tell Him that they were done with Him. The scientist walked up to God and said, "God, we've decided that we no longer need you. We're to the point that we can clone people and do many miraculous things, so why don't you just go on and get lost."

God listened very patiently and kindly to the man and after the scientist was done talking, God said, "Very well, how about this, let's say we have a man making contest."

To which the scientist replied, "OK, great!"

But God added, "Now, we're going to do this just like I did back in the old days with Adam."

The scientist said, "Sure, no problem" and bent down and grabbed himself a handful of dirt.

God just looked at him and said, "No, no, no. You go get your own dirt!"

"So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them."

Ge 1:27

TheCatholicSpirit.com - A Christian approach to politics

Although John F. Kennedy’s famous speech in Houston nearly 50 years ago could be seen as “a passionate appeal for tolerance,” the candidate’s remarks about how his Catholicism would affect his presidency “profoundly undermined the place . . . of all religious believers in America’s public life,” said Archbishop Charles Chaput of Denver. Speaking to the Greater Houston Ministerial Alliance on Sept. 12, 1960, less than two months before his election as the first Catholic U.S. president, Kennedy said that if his duties as president should “ever require me to violate my conscience or violate the national interest, I would resign the office.” He also said he would not “disavow my views or my church in order to win this election.”...
