Why does Chee say Americans have no right to have voice in immigration per the catholic church ?
The magnificent choir

She Lives AZ , would it be easier would it not return home to her <Mexico so Mexico churches will come of age ?To her Americas have no right to to reside here. Althought she leaves out many passages in the Bilbe to twist them around to accommodate her belifts. That passages in the bible leave out a lot of the 10 commandments designed to uphold the people to a standard of living. Why does so many people believe that the catholic church see's to it - that illeagls are not required to enhance them teaches. Is this is the new way of how the catholic church works and saves souls ?

I ignore Chee. Chee is a traitor to the USA. I skip over Chee's questions and answers ALWAYS. Chee has nothing intelligent to say about this issue.

The Catholic church encourages illegal immigration because they want the new tithing members. It's all about the money, don't ya know?

Why is the catholic church considered the voice for Christians and why are many hesitant to believe in Christ?
K5

The Catholic Church is considered the voice for the Catholic Church.

It does not attempt to speak for others and others would not appreciate the Church speaking for them.

Catholics believe hesitantly in Christ.

With love in Christ.

why does the catholic church in the Philippines not speak with one voice on the ZTE deal?

Because some bishops/priests have their own agenda, including interest on the issue depending on which side of their bread is buttered...well buttered.

Why do Filipinos are afraid to voice against the Catholic church?
K5

I am an Italian by origin and I find it fascinating about the Philippine culture and reading a lot of peoples answers here including other ex-pats.

The Roman Catholic have a strong influence on laws to us Italians but that influence has weakened. For example, until 1970, the church was able to block attempts to legalize divorce in Italy. In 1978, voters didn't allow the church position and voted to allow abortions.

What stops Filipinos to speak up and go against the church's teachings as for example women taking contraceptives? I would love to hear your thoughts about it.

Molto Grazie Filipinos.

It is for fear of social isolation, rebuke, and rejection.

The Philippine Catholic church is a very, very powerful social superstructure such that nobody dare contradict their statements in public. It is influential in almost all aspects of the life of the Filipino, he being very religious and seeks "holy anointment" in everything he does, whether in work, school, health, good fortune, or travelling abroad.

  • A Catholic Voice for LGBT Parents | Gay Rights | Change.org

The Archdiocese of Denver sent a chilling message to LGBT parents earlier this month by kicking out two young students -- one kindergartner and one pre-schooler -- from local Catholic schools because their parents were two moms. The decision was backed up by the Archbishop of Denver , Charles Chaput, who said that since the Catholic Church believed gay marriage was sinful, then they had every right to view the children of gay parents as unworthy of a Catholic school education.

But now four groups are fighting back , looking to both challenge Chaput and the Denver Archdiocese, and also provide a supportive platform for Catholics to rally behind LGBT families. The groups -- Call to Action, Dignity USA, Fortunate Families, and New Ways Ministry -- took full-page ads out in the to give voice to LGBT families in the area who either would like to send their kids to Catholic schools, or who do have kids currently enrolled. These groups also challenged the Denver Archdiocese to stop playing politics with the lives of children.

    Gay Rights: A Catholic Voice

“The Archdiocese of Denver has the legal right to expel these young children, but that doesn’t mean that it’s the right thing to do,” said Duddy-Burke. “We grieve at seeing these children hurt in this way, and we hope that the Archdiocese will listen to the voices of those who express their concerns about how these children are being treated.”

Which addresses the fact there are groups attempting to reach out and even fault the Catholic church for barring children of gay and lesbian parents from attending Catholic run schools.

Although I think the idea and challenge are commendable, I don’t think the effort will result in changing hearts and minds, as those hearts and minds are frozen in the ice ages.
