I don't know for sure if they do, but where I live (Chicago area) all or most all catholic schools recruit players from all over the area, not just for football, all sports.

Lima Central Catholic wins Div. III crown, sends coach into ...
COLUMBUS, Ohio -- It took 32 seasons for Lima Central Catholic coach Bob Seggerson to win his first Ohio boys basketball championship, and as soon as it ended he announced he wasn't going for a second.
Seggerson's Thunderbirds held off a furious rally and claimed their first state title in school history on Saturday with a 60-57 win over Orrville in the Division III championship in front of 14,008 at Value City Arena in Columbus.
Afterward, Seggerson announced he was retiring from coaching with 517 wins. This was his sixth appearance in the state tournament, and he said he made the decision within the last month.
"I've coached my last basketball game," Seggerson said. "It's something I've talked about the last two or three years with people I respect."
Austin Stolly scored 16 points and Desi Kirkman added 14 points, five rebounds and six assists in the win for the Thunderbirds. The duo combined to make 12-of-14 free-throw attempts.

LAWRENCE — Fourteen years ago, Central Catholic High School opened its doors to female students and became a co-ed institution.
In July, Doreen Keller will open another chapter in the school's 75-year history when she becomes Central Catholic's first female principal.
"This is exciting in itself," said Keller, 56. "In the 21st century, being co-ed and the fact that I am a female principal, means I can be a role model not only to the male students but to our female students as well."
Keller was chosen unanimously by the search committee from a pool of 30 educators who applied from across 11 states, China and the United Arab Emirates.
"I feel truly blessed to have been afforded this opportunity," she said. "This is a dream come true. I am living my faith by the work I do here. The sense of community and family that we have here makes it such a unique place."
