jserra is a catholic high school
I think i read somewhere she is being homeschool.. but never know...
OK so, I go to JSerra right now, a super new and super nice private catholic school. But all my friends go to Dana Hills, the local public school.
Basketball is my sport and I am not really happy at JSerra. And the basketball coach at Dana screams a lot.
At JSerra, I won't get the high school experience and I have only made a few friends. But at Dana, all my friends go there, and they want me to go too. But the Dana coach is really nuts.
Also my sis goes to Dana.
I could switch and go to Dana now, or wait til next year. Or I could just stay at JSerra.
What should I do??
Please no stupid answers. Thanks
I understand your dilemma. It's hard to make friends when you are in a totally new environment, but thats something that I'm sure will come in time for you.
Now, about your basketball situation: I totally relate. When I was in high school, I loved softball- and I was awesome at it, too. I was brought up to varsity for playoffs as a sophmore, making it a sure thing that I'd make the team the next season. However, I quit-- because I thought the head coach was a jerk. He was one, but looking back on it now (as a college junior) I totally regret it. So don't base your decision about basketball on the coach. If you love the game, don't let anything take it away from you.
The only last thing I want you to consider is this: where do you see basketball in your future? are you hoping to get a college scholarship with it? My reason for asking is because your education is more valuable than anything else. If you will get a better education at the catholic school, I suggest staying there. If you think your education would be equal at either school, then I think you should sit down with your parents/guardians and talk everything out. Best of luck to you!
Orange County High School Boys Lacrosse: JSerra Catholic Boys ...

The Lions took major steps last year under Coach Michael Hutnick, finishing 15-7 overall and sharing the Trinity League title with an 8-2 record. The team was also the Division II champion at the Orange County playoffs.
JSerra looks like it has the ability to contend for another title and make another long playoff run, led by senior goalie Max Gold, who was first team all-league.

Allison Draper and Annie Wersching are friends, although "friends" is probably the better way to describe their connection.
See, Allison is an 18-year-old senior at a Catholic high school in Orange County.
And Annie, she's the actress who plays the emotionally fragile yet physically butt-kicking ex-FBI agent Renee Walker on the Fox series "24."
