I was wondering if it's possible to hand ring the bells in the tower, if there are any, when I was there, I should've looked around or asked, but I forgot and I don't remember if there were before Mass.
mine are real
The Melkite, or Greek Catholic Church, is a church of Byzantine tradition in full communion with the Roman Catholic Church.
I was baptized in a high-church and my mother is a protestant although i want to be Roman Catholic, do i need to be baptized again as a Roman Catholic?
It depends on the baptism. The Catholic Church recognizes baptisms of other faiths if you are baptized in the name of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

I know London and Liverpool have two cathedral's,One C of E
the other catholic.I would think all cathedral's in England should
be C of E.If there is only one,it should be C of E.I was on a bus through Salford today and saw it's cathedral was catholic. Why
can this be,we do not have a C of E church in the Vatican. So why the hell should they have a catholic Cathedral in England.
A city does not need to have a Cathedral.
A Cathedral is the principal church of an episcoplalian diocese and the place where the Bishop of that diocese retains his seat (called a throne).
The place where this church is located becomes an "Ecclestiastical City", as distinct from a 'civil' city which as been granted a Royal Charter.
Some Ecclestiastical Cities also have a Royal Charter, such as the City of London. Some Ecclestiastical Cities, such as St. Davids, do not have a Royal Charter. And some cities with Royal Charters, because they have no Cathedral, are not Ecclestiastical Cities.
If every City by Royal Charter were to have a Cathedral, then there would an increase in the number of Bishops in the Church of England.
Jesus preached to give to the poor and he was openly against material objects (today these are things like cars, TVs, large houses, etc). It costed millions to build the Roman Cathedral in Italy. Why wouldn't you give that money to the poor instead of spend it for yourself if that is what you preach. Do you think Jesus would have accepted of this?
Don't get out much, do you? There are plenty of Protestant churches that are just as ornate and expensive as any Catholic church, but I don't see you lambasting the ones who built the Crystal Cathedral or Oral Roberts' Prayer Tower.
In any event, Jesus' Father commanded the Israelites to use enormous amounts of gold, precious stones, and exotic woods and materials to build a temple for His glory. The Temple was to remind people that He is the Lord God of hosts, the Almighty and All-powerful One, and that there are no gods before Him.
Catholic cathedrals honor God and inspire people with their beauty and holiness. Only the most crass and ignorant person can step into Notre Dame or St. Patrick's and ignore the sanctity of such a holy place. Trust me -- God *is* respected and honored in His holy cathedrals.
And in any event, did you know that Catholic Charities is one of the largest philanthropic organizations in the world. Each year, the Church spends millions of dollars to help the homeless, sick, hungry, and helpless. Our donations provide education, counseling, adoption, and other services for people of all religions -- not just Catholics.
How much, exactly, did YOU donate to any of those causes this year?
built, and where?
Sorry, I meant to ask 'in England'

Rhymes With Right - Muslims Seek To Desecrate Catholic Cathedral ...
Two Muslim tourists were arrested when they tried to pray inside Córdoba’s famous former mosque, breaking a ban imposed by the Roman Catholic Church.
Half a dozen Austrian Muslims knelt to pray at the same time in the vast marble building, which was converted to a cathedral in the 13th century after Muslims were driven from Spain.
Security guards stepped in and “invited them to continue with their tour or leave the building”, according to cathedral authorities.
When two refused a scuffle broke out and police were called. Two security guards were seriously injured. Spanish media, citing police sources, said that one of the Muslims arrested had been carrying a knife.
Muslims try to pray in Spanish cathedral
FOX NEWS… MADRID (AP) — A group of Muslims tried to pray inside a Roman Catholic cathedral that was originally a mosque and then scuffled with security guards and police who tried to stop them, a Spanish official said Friday.
Two of the tourists were arrested after the incident Wednesday night in the southern city of Cordoba and a police officer and a cathedral security guard were slightly injured, National Police spokeswoman Rosa Ortiz told The Associated Press.
The Great Mosque of Cordoba was built after the Moorish invasion of Spain in the 8th century. Cordoba is known as the City of Three Cultures because Muslims, Jews and Christians lived there in harmony during medieval times.
The mosque was transformed into a cathedral in 1236 when King Ferdinand III captured the city from the Moors. Since then, except for rare exceptions, Muslim prayer rites have been forbidden inside.
