I am thinking about applying to this all girls college in Washington but it's a Catholic Church. I am a christian and I don't mind going to any college. So could someone help me out and tell me some things about going to a Catholic College, like the education and would I still get a good job. Like the college is called Trinity Washington College, and I plan on going into nursing.
As you plan to study nursing, I do not see that the college being Roman Catholic is necessarily a problem for you. However, as you apparently are a non-Roman Catholic Christian, you will have to decide whether you will comfortable at this college. You may want to check its website to see if a class on religion or church attendance is required. Many Roman Catholic colleges are known to offer excellent education for the nursing profession. Most nurses find good jobs. Some employers prefer the graduates of Catholic nursing colleges as these students have the reputation of having learned their profession in a highly professional and disciplined atmosphere.
They do several different services there

My dad (more than my mom) is worried about me going off to college in some strange, big city, and last night it turned into a huge blow up. And it's not like the matter is pressing, I'm just a junior.
Any way we live in Denver and I would like to go to college on the easy coast. I really like the idea of D.C.
So what I'm really asking, is can you provide some solid, dependable information about the benefits of living in one of these cities. Or just give me something to tell my dad so he won't be so freaked out.
Here's the list of possible schools:
Trinity College - Dublin, Ireland
Eton College - London, England (I think it's in London at least
Radcliffe College - Cambridge, MA
Catholic University - Washington, D.C. U
College of William and Mary - Williamsburg, VA
New York University - New York, NY
Columbia - New York, NY
Vassar - Poughkeepsie, NY
Sweet Briar College - Sweet Briar, VA
Smith College - Northampton, MA
Living alone is still living alone, doesn't matter which city you're living in (although if your not in New York City you're a little safer, hah)
You need to prove to your parents that you are mature and experienced enough to be able to take care of yourself and make the right decisions when necessary.

Hi, My family voted Kevin Rudd to become Australia's Prime Minister and just wondering will I ever get a free laptop this year, next year or the year after?
I'm a Year 9 student for 2008 and I go to Trinity Catholic College and it's outrageous that other Year 9's got one and my school didn't. If you go to Public School did you receive any this year?
Will there be an opportunity to get any laptop in Year 10, 11, or 12 in my non-government school?
Ha! I doubt it.
keep dreaming

KINGS, queens, pawns and castles dominated the minds of students and filled the learning centre at St Johns Woodlawn on Tuesday.
Round one of the Northern Rivers Inter-School Teams Championship was held at the school where 157 kids battled it out for both fun and for a spot at the State championships to be held in Sydney later this year.
Gardiner Chess is the organiser of the event, which tours 2000 schools in Northern NSW and Queensland each year.
This is the third consecutive year St Johns Woodlawn has hosted the competition and over the next two school terms, two other local schools will hold rounds two and three of the chess championships.
Trinity Catholic College student Tait Jenkins and Kadina High School student Tobin Davitt went head-to-head in an intense chess game where Tobin’s experience won in the end.
...Trinity Catholic College students tackle cyber bullies - Acklam ...
Over the next 12 months the Year 9 pupils at Trinity Catholic College, in Acklam, will be on hand to help Year 7 pupils who feel vulnerable to bullying.
They have been given training sessions on mediation and dealing with cyber bullying.
Maryellen Bannister, 14, from Acklam, deactivated her own Facebook account after she learned of possible social networking dangers.
"My gran didn't want me on it anymore after she read in the paper about it - it scared me."
Maryellen and her fellow peer mentors - Megan Chantrell, 14, Sam Cockburn, 13, and Cameron Wild, 14 - agree social networking sites can be a problem
"People should stop using the sites," said Cameron, from Acklam.
"MSN is a big problem," said Sam, from Pallister Park.
"There are always some people who want you to use a webcam but if you don't want it on they keep annoying you, and you get MSN on X-box now."
