Preferably old english 1700s and later. I was told there are pictures of catholic monks throughout the dictionary pointing at typos. I know this sounds weird but i need to find it to gather ideas for an ad i am working on.

You need the actual dictionary, or just pictures of a dictionary online.

Vintage style Wedding. I am planning this as a surpise for my Step daughter. This is her snd wedding & her husbands second wedding. One is catholic the other is jewish, so a chirch will not work. SOmewhere they can elope with about 10 friends & family, perhaps even take their small children, and then remain for their Honeymoon. Neither care for cold weather too much. They were going to just go to Vegas, but I am planning this as a surprise gift from her dad & me. maybe near a waterfall, a pretty mountain, a beach I am at a loss dor ideas. I only know that she got very sick in Greece and was in the I.C.U at a very primative hospiatal abut 10 years ago, so she weill not leave the United States. would appreciate any unique, original ideas very much

Yes it would be fine, it is not provocative in any way. I am sure that there will be other women dresses that are way more risque than that one.

At a second-hand store, I recently purchased a "Sacred Heart of Mary" print that looks to be of 1950s vintage. In taking it apart to clean the glass, I found a photograph of a young boy, maybe 5-7 years old. There is nothing written on the back of the photo, other the identifying info about the professional studio that took the picture.

The picture of Mary showed in the glass, and the photo of the boy was hidden behind. Is there any Catholic tradition of doing this? Is there a significance to this placement? I wondered if maybe the boy had died young and this was sort of a perpetual prayer for him. I would appreciate your thoughts. Thanks!

I've never heard of that, but it makes a lot of sense to me. It could be a bereaved mother's way to symbolically give her lost child into the Blessed Mother's love and care. Or it could have been a silent prayer request for protecting a living child, as well.

And depending on how old the boy is and how well he's dressed, the picture could have been a First Communion gift with the photo tucked inside as a remembrance of the day. If he's well-dressed and apparently participating in some special occasion, that's the most likely answer.

In any event, it's not a standard practice that I'm aware of -- possibly an ethnic or regional tradition of some sort.

Daver, it is not at all surprising that he became a Roman Catholic, that's what usually happens. That does not justify at all what happened to him, and make no mistake, God was not working at all, but the selfishness of human beings.

Yes, absolutely. I've heard about this sad story before and it's one of the sickest m-fing things I've ever heard in my life.
