I lost my favorite ring last week and cannot find one anywhere on the internet. It can be either stainless steel or silver and has the words JESUS IS LORD etched into the ring. I wear a size 8. Any help would be very appreciated. Has anyone seen one in a jewelry store or possibly own one they would like to sell?
Do you really need a silver ring to remind you of this?
The Beatitudes Cross is made with holy water from the River Jordan and earth from the Mount of Beatitudes where Jesus Christ performed his #39 ...
cost is not an issue, it is for my aunties birthday present, she will be 50, but she has been going on about getting more jewelry, and she has this gorgeous jesus cross necklace, that she has had for years, and she has been going on about wanting another one. It has to be Gold, because she is allergic to silver.
thanks to any genuine advice on this

Try Anita's website. It is all designed by her, and easy to buy on line but I am not sure about delivery in time for your auntie's present.

Is it that they want to be closer to God by wearing a Christian symbol Are they wearing it as a symbol of hatred like the old Romans did when they crucified Jews and other non citizens and Christ . Look at all the rappers and drama queens like Madonna, and her earrings . Look at all the wanna bee's wearing the same funny to see all the glitter on them and then a big cross that stands out from the rest
Well sorry , I was just curious The cross was a means of punishment and death by the Romans it is not worshiped in the Christian faith that I know of. It was a slow torturus death . Oh and by the way i havent put up a Christmas tree for over 25 yrs I use a nativity scene with out the wise men , seeing as how they were not there

Does anyone know of any Christian jewelry stores in or near Aberdeen, Maryland? Well i guess it doesn't exactly have to be Christian, but somewhere that I can get a purity ring with either a white gold or silver band that has the heart protected by the cross, with a blue diamond(the symbol of purity) and something like "true love waits" inscribed on it. I do want this for the right reasons. Now that I am going into high school it is time to get one. I don't want to just go to the jewelry store that my mom is going to take me to, I want to know more options that I have so that I will be able to get exactly what I want. I might sound bratty but, this means alot to me and I just want for it to be perfect.
Also, I go to Pennsylvania quite often so if there is a place there that you reccomend let me know. I would much prefer to go to a store but if ordering online is my only option than could you please put links in your answer to where I could order the ring I am interested in? Whoever answers I greatly appreciate it and thank you in advance.

It is known as the era of glamour. Not much to spend, but lots to see. The sears catalogue had stated that, “thrift it the spirit of the day. Reckless spending is a thing of the past.”
It was in 1930 that the great depression had begun. Less ready-to-wear clothing was purchased. But styles had changed dramatically. Then finally the decade say many improvements and many women were able to buy well made clothes. It was then that a many companies introduced many different materials such as leather and nylon. But when WW2 had begun, then business had been slow. But then when WW2 had ended, things went back to normal, selling more different styles.
Daytime clothing for women had been more ladylike. Woman would wear high waist skirts, and blouses. Square shoulders had become popular. A coat, hat, gloves, and laced high heels, finished the look. Some women would also wear suits. Men began to wear plaids and polos. A simple leather jacket and Two Tone Gator shoes were popular. Some men wore more of a sportsman’s look. This look was called Plus Fours. These were a type of pants that went four inches lower than the regular kickers. Plus Fours had a band four inches below the knee with extra fabric added to give it more of a baggy look. This look also had a polo. Hair for men it was parted to one side. For women, it was short and it got waved with a type of jell.
Out of all the new fashion, evening wear was the most glamorous. Metallic was the most popular color to wear. Dresses were usually long and curved with the wait. They either had an open back or puffed sleeves. The Flapper dress was also popular. This was a shapeless dress and it was baggy. The sleeves would be long and baggy as well. Fur was one thing that women wore over long dresses. Fur was usually made out of sable, mink, chinchilla, Persian lamb, or Silver Fox. Shoes would usually be closed toe shoes. In the evening men would wear either a tuxedo or a long tailcoat with a tie or bow.
The style for children was simple. Girls would wear a simple dress to the knee and cover it with a coat. Then they would wear knee high socks, and finish off with Mary Jane shoes. They also would wear a dress that was short with puffed sleeves. Boys would wear plus fours just the same as older men did.
There were many designers of the 1930s but the most popular ones were, Coco Chanel, Christian Dior and Charles James. Coco Chanel was known for her suits, costume jewelry, and handbags. Christian Dior was known for the “New look”, which was rounded shoulders, small waist, long skirts, and pencil skirts. Charles James was known for lavish ball gowns.
Fashion is different now from the 1930’s in lots of ways. Women usually don’t wear dresses in the evening unless a special event. Men wear tuxedos the same. Women now days wear jeans, and don’t dress as fancy. There are many different hair styles and short hair for women isn’t as popular as it was in the 1930’s.
The era of glamour had started with a bad start, but then improved. It was an era that no one would forget. Even now days we take ideas from the 1930’s and make new things out of them.
...so dig way back into the very back of your closet to that bag of clothing your grandma gave you three years ago. You just may become a trendsetter yet.
