Or would the Anglican (Church of England) need to convert to Catholicism?
Yes.
The Catholic Church allows marriage between Catholics and non-Catholics.
Because the Church recognizes the tremendous challenge that the interfaith couple will face, they may have to get permission from the bishop.

what do they mean by He broke with the Roman Catholic Church? or Separatists, so called because they had broken with the Anglican Church.
King Henry 8 broke off w/ the roman catholic church, by supporting the protastants, and he made himself ruler of the church. catholics were persecuted, and protastants ruled.
the sperartist (raticle puritans) said that they had had enough of the angelican church, and that there was no way to salvage it, so they left to make their own church in the netherlands before settling in Massachusettes.
as far as I know. the anglican church is not totally catholic.. there are many anglican churches very similar to a protestant church and.. some of them allowed homosexuality.. so why is this a big issue in the anglican church?
and the issue why do they try to imitate? because many anglican priests and bishops dress like a catholic roman bishop or priest. as well their churches are similar to catholic parishes.. with names of saints..
The Anglican communion is a form of Catholicism. There is no imitation, just a continuation of the original practices. The churches of the Anglican communion recognize Catholic baptism and vice versa. The two groups are very much part of the ecumenical movement, whose goal is to reunite Christianity under one banner.
Edit:
If anything, some of the churches (including the Episcopal Church in America) could be considered the liberal form of the Catholic Church.
"The Anglican Communion considers itself to be part of the One, Holy, Catholic, and Apostolic Church and as being both Catholic and Reformed. ... With approximately 77 million members, the Anglican Communion is the third largest communion in the world, after the Roman Catholic Church and the Eastern Orthodox Churches."
Can't you just see that happening as Anglican get more fed up wi the liberalization of the Anglican Church.
Only God knows when this miracle will happen.
"The Catholic Church embraces with hope the commitment to ecumenism as a duty of the Christian conscience enlightened by faith and guided by love…Jesus himself, at the hour of his Passion, prayed 'that they may all be one' (John 17:21)." -- Pope John Paul II, Ut Unum Sint, May 25, 1995.

Here is the joint declaration of justification by Catholics (1999), Lutherans (1999), and Methodists (2006):
By grace alone, in faith in Christ's saving work and not because of any merit on our part, we are accepted by God and receive the Holy Spirit, who renews our hearts while equipping us and calling us to good works.

Went to an Anglican church for the first time today and during prayer (from a book), I came across a phrase "..believe... in the holy Catholic church". Is Anglican Catholic in nature? I'm confused. Read online that there is such a thing as Anglican Catholic. Please explain. Thanks all.
The Anglican (Church of England, or Episcopal Church in America) is a branch of the Catholic church which got separated when England split from Rome politically.
I am raised Episcopal, and we still pray for the Pope everyday! In addition to all world leaders!
It is a good church and free of much conservative dogma which has invaded many protestant denominations.
