My best friends b-day is coming up i was hoping to get her a cross necklace with her name on it..i mean i nice one too...
and possibly a glass jewelry box with personalized words etched into it...plz some help on where to shop online!!!
I found some nice ones for you below, most of them will do the engraving, you just have to ask.
A glass jewellery box can be purchased at the same stores or search for sites on line. A jeweller can engrave on a plain glass box if you should find one that you like.

I was given my grandmothers silver colored cross after she was killed in a car accident when I was 15. I was very close to her and now that I am getting married, I would like this pendant restored so I can use it as bouquet charm when I get married. Then pass it down to my one day daughter. It's missing almost all of the glass gems (6 rectangle and 5 round clear pieces of cut glass/crystal). It has the Lord's Prayer written in the center inbetween the glass - you can read it when you hold it up to a light - but that is even hard to read now, but it may just be dirty. The thin silver chain was lost years ago - I was a rough with my jewelry as a kid.
Can I just bring it in to any jewelers? I don't think it's real silver, but it has great personal value to me.
yes most jewelers will be able to restore it but you might want to take it to a specialist just for your piece of mind in knowing it is in careful hands. md jewelery repair is great but you didnt say where you are from so im not sure if there is one near you. you can search google for local jewelry repair specialists in your area.
hope this helps

I own a Jewelry stand at a Flea Market. Fine Sterling Silver Jewelry.A customer bought a cross with a mother of pearl stone setting. Was returned following day. Customer says stone fell out.I asked for stone, he said he didn't have it. Told this customer I would replace piece. Upon careful investigation with magnifying glass I found a dent in the wall of setting like it was picked out.Scratches where on base of plate stone was set in.I did the investigation when I got home.Do I replace the piece?I already said I would but I did not investigate before I said I would. Now that I Checked out the piece it was tampered with.Do I show the customer the damage? What is the best thing to do in this instance?
Yes, do replace the piece as you have already committed yourself. It would displays goodwill on your part. At the end of it all, you may get a loyal customer who refer even more customers to you. You must, however, learn the lesson - investigate before you commit yourself. Also, ask every customer to check that their bought items are in order before they leave your stand. You could minimize dispute by doing so. Nevertheless, before replacing the piece, you could inform the customer of what you have found out. Show him/her the damage. Play by the ear. You may be surprised with the outcome. Whatever happens, be nice. "The customer is always right."

Great list. I am puttin it on the fridge. SO many things i didnt know. I do
the dryer sheets in drawers and under couch cushions, Also using newspaper to clean glass leaves it as clear as new. Alot of these things are a surprise to me,but its great to know usefull things for around the house.
I am Aries, I must say I do resemble some of these remarks. I'm always bumping my head & I can relate to Hard Headed Women by Cat Stevens and I won't bring a knife to a gun fight :) ENJOY!
Scorpio and yes it's all true. I am the next Bill Gates. lol
