Daughter Heart Charm

NEGATIVE! of cancer!!(BENIGN)!! Yesterday was the happiest day of my life when she told me the results of her pathology test! I live an hour and a half away from her and I am going to be seeing her real soon for Easter and I really want to get her something nice I was thinking on getting her a matching necklace that has a mother and daughter heart charm I wanted to get something else but just not sure what yet can you please give me some ideas? Thanx! =]]]

I like the necklace idea, but there are any number of mother-daughter love gifts in stores, from plaques to art to many kinds of jewelry.

The big gift is, of course, her health. How wonderful! Give her a big hug from us.

I will possibly be purchasing my daughter a Tiffany & Co. necklace, and it has two heart charms, one bigger than the other. I want to get the bigger heart engraved, but it doesn't give me an option. Has anyone ever gone through this process before? Thanks!!!!

See if you can order it by phone, then tell them you want the bigger heart charm engraved. Worked for me! :]

Me and my daughter are physically seperated from eachother & I have not seen her since spring break in March! I miss her very much & so does she, we don't get to talk very often about once or twice a week on the phone. her Daddy is very well off & can afford anything so she has about all the toys her heart desires...I got her an american girl for her birthday in October, I would really love to get her something special that will show how much i care about her! Any ideas? The best i could think off was a necklace or a charm bracelet so she can start collecting charms... any mom's with 6 yr old lil princesses out there that could give me some advice?

how about a set of rings that fit together like a bridal set, one with your birthstone and one with hers. i have two little girls, so i have to be creative enough not to get the same for both! it's hard to come up with ideas. good luck on this! I got pregnant the first time and delivered at 23 weeks, my daughter was born at 1pound 3ounces had a lot of difficulties but is a happy healthy 4 year old now. I love my daughter but still feel sad that I didn't get the chance to have a real pregnancy, I was in a hospital on bed rest from 17 weeks on, and never got the chance to get big, take birth classes, breastfeed, hold my newborn, all that. I got pregnant,but at first doctors appt was told there was no heart beat, turns out it was a molar pregnancy, which is where the body basically makes a placenta but no baby. Had the surgery to remove it and went thru the year and a half of testing to make sure the cells didn't come back or become cancer. They removed the cells by a D&C with suction which is the way they do abortions. Could it have harmed my ability to concieve somehow? The doctors all said after waiting a year I should be fine to try again. It's been 2 years now and no luck.

I had a molar pregnancy in 2001 and conceived my son in 2002, so it is possible to get pregnant again after a molar. It sounds like you had a tough time with your first pregnancy as well; its possible you are just someone who has trouble getting pregnant. My husband and I have been together since my stepdaughter was 3 months old. We have three children together as well.

I want to get a charm tattoo for our girls and would love to add my stepdaughter on there as well. A.) I don't want her to feel less of a daughter B.) I really don't see the difference between her and my three daughters in my heart

The problem is that her biological mother has always had a very hard time accepting that she was to share her daughter with another mother figure. I don't want to cause problems with her...What would you do in this situation?

In this case you are dam*ed if you do and your dam*ed if you don't.. Don't ask the biological mother for permission she does not own you.. I understand you want to be respectful of her but it does not sound like she is very respectful of you.. If its what feels, right do it.. If she is not that big of a fan of you she most likely won't be that interested to check out your work. If she does ask to see it and asks why you got "her" daughter's name tattooed on you tell her "she is forever a part of my life and I want the world to know it she is a wonderful kid and I love her as one of my own." and if she can't be mature enough to understand that, it's honestly not your problem..
