Heart Charm Earrings

I know there are some really expensive ones out there and some that don't look so good. I imagined the bracelet the moment I read it from 'Eclipse'. The wolf charm had to be small, but detailed, and wooden. The diamond heart charm had to be the right size and be as real looking as possible. Well, after hours of searching on how to make mine, I found the right items! You just have to do a little more work for the wolf charm to fit the profile, but it looks fabulous, people where wonder where you got it. The wolf charm actually started out as an earring from http://www.seediccm.org/store_kenya.htm (a zebra at that) but with stain and a little carving and detail, its perfect. (Patience is the key). The heart charm was easy. I remember in the book Bella saying after she found out it was a diamond that it could have easily been 5 carats. I researched what the size of that sort of diamond would be and found the perfect one on charmfactory.com. The bracelet is a dainty, sterling silver one I found on sears.com for $20. All in all, the bracelet cost a little over $30 total, but I am so proud of it and think it does the one in the book justice. Any questions, just ask! Have fun :)

you can always go to a craft store and find the charms or beads and make youre own, if you cant find the ones you want you can make them out of shrinky dink paper. it works awesome. i made a pair of 'chanel' earrings for my friend and copied my real ones exact, you could barely tell the difference shrinky dinks are awesome

Don't get me wrong here, I'm not here to be "defined", I just want to know out of curiosity what others think of my style! I wear jeans (both dark and light) and flip flops most of the time, though sometimes I wear flats, with a mix of polos, sweatshirts, and sweaters. I don't wear the tight tees with ABERCROMBIE or HOLLISTER plastered on the front. I wear my hair down and straightened, sometimes with a headband or my bangs pinned back. And for jewelry, nothing too chunky or flashy, I wear silver earrings and a heart charm necklace. What would this style be? Thanks!

Should I and What should I get my girlfriend for Christmas who wants to take it slow? Can't decide what present would be best or appropriate.

I have meet this girl back in October. Everything was going great. After a month of seeing her, she won't return my call or text for about a week. She finally texted me and said she had to tell me what was gong on. When we saw each other again, she told me she didn't know at first why she didn't want to talk to me for the week. She then talked with all her friends and family and determined she was just scared becuase everything was going so good. She said she caught her last boyfriend cheating on her and she had seen him for 4 years. She said she wants to take it slow, but have a serious relationship with me.

She said I didn't have to get her a Christmas present, but I am not sure if she is just saying that. I know she likes jewelry, and have been looking. I found a nice heart necklace, another luckey charm necklace, heart shaped earrings, regular type earrings.

Would she get the wrong idea and think I'm taking things too fast if I got her a heart shaped necklace or earrings, or should I just get somethings plan for now?

Is there some other type of present that may better to get her for now?

Would it upset her if I get her something anyway even though she said I don't have to get her something?

Even though she said she doesn't want anything, she probably does and will appreciate even just the thought you put into getting her a gift. As far as jewelry, as long as you don't get like an engagement ring lol haha or go overboard on the jewelry. Try to get her a pretty necklace for a couple 100 bucks or something. Whatever you feel comfortable purchasing. Another good addition/alternative would be to get her some gift cards to her favorite clothe stores. Gift cards never hurt and they ensure that she gets EXACTLY what she wants :)

Hi there. I recently saw older costume like jewelry at a Habitat for Humanity resale store. There are many resale stores in towns all over America. There is a little ring on most earrings called jump rings. They can be purchased online or at Michael's or almost any craft store. If you find some interesting costume jewelry, you can remove anything attached via jump ring and reattach any cool danglings, like those super adorable strawberries! My grandma has a box full of costume jewelry that she won't let me have....what a pity! Once you take apart a few of these pieces you'll have lots of one of a kind charms and beads to re-use and re-purpose into different designer items...difference is that the designer will be YOU.. have fun...
