Is there a patron saint for snow days? Or even a couple of patron saints that you could kind-of combine to fill the void (like one for wishful students, and another for bad weather, or something)?
I go to a Catholic university (though I'm not Catholic). My roommates and I live in the same building as the President, and would like to create a snow-day shrine outside his door.

RCIA doesn't really put much into Saints ... but I was hoping a craddle Catholic could tell me the traditional ways to honor a Saint on their day ... BTY ... Today is St. Joseph, the worker.
First of all today is not St. Joseph's feast day. That is March 19th. He is the Patron of Workers though and today is the day to celebrate the worker. On a saints feast day you should ask that saint to intercess for you and with you to petition God to help make you a better person in this world. Maybe go to Mass and meditate about that saints life and how he/she devoted their life to being a better person and lead others to God through their example. You could also celebrate the feast day with a good time. God never told us to be sourpusses. Enjoy what He has given you.
