I actually found myself praying this way earlier in the week. LOL So I guess it must work. 
Ty’s theme in Reading this week was about the US; the capital, the flag, and the White House. So naturally, the Snack of the Week this week was ‘Flag Crackers”:
We made these adorable bead cross necklaces this week. However, the boys aren’t keen on wearing necklaces, so they turned them into bookmarks instead.
Like I said earlier, we took the boys fishing on Thursday. We didn’t catch any fish, but we did manage to find conch shells all over the bottom of the sea floor. We took two, not realizing that they still had creatures living inside of them. I took pictures of them, but I can’t find them!!! They were incredibly gross looking, and the boys were fascinated with them. I dropped them into boiling water – and for those of you who know me, you KNOW that this was very hard for me to do. I cringed and apologized as I slid each shell into the pot. I let them boil for about 15 minutes, then took them out of the pot and pulled them out of the shells. I was going to cook them to eat, but I just. couldn’t. do. it. I was horrified by their appearance. I understand that they are pretty tasty, but I just lacked the courage to try them. Anyway, the boys kept the shells and I’ll post pics of those some other time.
