a gold ring or will it ruin silver? I don't want to spend $160.00 on a silver ring that will just get ruined but they only have a size 8 left and I wear a 4. Should I get the ring or not?

yes you can if its a plain band if it has anything on it (for example stones) i wouldent suggest doing it but and give me info bout what you mean with a gold ring or will it ruin silver but in my opinion i wouldent buy the ring and resize it just look for a different one

Ok so i have this sterling silver ring that is a little big for my pinky and a little small for my ring finger. Is there anyway to make it bigger so it can fit my ring finger or to shrink it so it can fit my pinky?

You can stretch a ring, but unless you have to proper tools, it won't look good afterwards. A jeweller can also stretch your ring, but they usually don't like to do that, they would rather do a proper re-sizing and charge accordingly. You can buy little resizers that you fit inside the ring shank yourself (just need some pliers to do that) and that way, it'll fit onto your pinky. Have a look on ebay for those re-sizers.

I have this beautiful white gold ring with multicoloured stones in it. It was too big for me and I did take it to a jeweller to make smaller but when I got the ring back, the gold or metal in the ring made it really brittle so the jeweller couldnt fix it up. I was also told that the ring would break eventually.

I want to put the stones into a new sterling silver ring, one that will not break and perhaps change the design in it a little bit.
Any idea how much this may cost?

Why sterling silver? Have them melt down the gold when they make the new wax. Also, for a custom wax, you're looking at around 200 dollars. Anything more than that is a ripoff.
