How much should I ask for when sell my jewelry??? Pics can be shown to help.?

PLEASE HELP!!! I'm not very fond of selling my jewelry but I need the money. Family First. I need help finding a good place to sell them and get close to what they are worth, and a close idea of how much they are worth.
I have pics of them if that helps, and will photo share them at yahoo IM wandering_soul3465 .... Thank you for your help in advance.

1.) I have a white gold bracelet, 7 1/2 inch long, with 12 Sapphires in it.

2.) a 7 1/2 inch long, Celtic, bracelet. It has 11 Claddagh symbols. ( pair of hands holding a heart. )http://www.whats-your-sign.com/celtic-je welry.html.

3.) a 17 1/2 in gold chain with a 10k gold heart pendant. the heart has 3 white stones and 4 red. ( I don't know it they are real rubies and diamonds ) pendant is about 1 1/2 cm.

4.) 3 different Crosses. one covered with diamonds and white gold. next, Gold...I think 10k but could be 14k.. with Jesus on it. last white gold with Jesus on it.

5.) 1 inch long Italian pepper pendant. Gold. I think 10k not sure.

6.) 14k gold S pendant, 1/2 inch long.

Thats all I'll list. But please if you know about jewelry help me. They were all gifts and do mean a lot to me. Finding the best price will make it easier to part.

Jewelry looses a lot of value once it is second hand. To be able to come up with an approx. price idea, we need the weight of the items. Your white gold bracelet could be anything between $ 20 and thousands, all depending on weight and design.

You will only end up with approx. 20% of the money that was initially spent buying the items. If it means a lot to you, I wouldn't sell it.

I want to add here, everything is only worth what someone else is willing to pay for it. Just because you spend $ 100 for a jewelry item doesn't mean it is 'worth' $ 100. If you want the scrap value, what the content of solid gold is worth, you will have to weigh everything, calculate how much solid gold is in the lot and look up today's gold price.

Cheers

What gifts to buy friends at home.?

I've been living in Scotland for a bit now and I'm going home to the states and I don't know what would be a good gift to buy a few close friends. I don't want to waste money. what would you like to receive, they are mid 30's, a couple 40 ish. I'm not into tshirts and coffee mugs. specialty food? pottery? celtic jewelry? anything else fun?

Scot Celtic jewelry would be PERFECT for all of the women, and at least some of the men. If you know a man doesn't like jewelry, though, go with a small (coffee cup sized) vase with a Scot Celtic 'sheild' on it for them/him. There are two reasons for this ... this is the LIGHTEST weight you can carry, and you can buy nice stuff at a nice price but not be getting 'gem/precious metal' stuff ... the thing your friends REALLY want, though, is YOU, home where you can see them. Give each one a big hug and tell them how much you missed them, and they'd be satisfied with a few postcards!

I want to get my wife a gift thats unique and fun?

I usually get her flowers or jewelry, but thats bland and expensive. So - where can i go for ideas or something unique things that still let her know shes my number one girl.

-Loves Celtic and Gaelic things, like Celtic knots, challdahs, or trinity knots. (Yes we shop at Gaelstrom a lot.)

-She loves hockey, (tickets are sold out, and she has autographs of her players)

-Plays online and video games.

-She loves books, (has many first editions)

-She's active in yoga some new age things.

-Very fun and energetic.

-Likes cute things like japan pop culture, cute knickknacks and novelty items.

-Thinks that small joke items are fun, cute, but have their place. Not that a good gift cant be a joke item, be something meaningful as well.

Any help with ideas, or online stores that may have things of her interest, thanks in advance.

PS: Yes we are young, I am 23 she is 25. But we have been togther for about 5 years now.

The girl I like is Pagan, I want to know what kind of gift I could give to her that she would like.?

I've been looking at Pagan jewelry, but I don't know much about Paganism, and I don't know what sect (or denomination?) she is yet.
I do know she has a celtic tattoo, are there any rings or small things that you could recommend I get her to show her how I feel and how much I respect her beliefs?

Thanks to all in advance!

That's a very sweet and thoughtful thing to do.

There are hundreds of different pagan religions, and they all have their own sets of sacred symbols. Without knowing which specific religion she belongs to (if any) it's hard to advise you on any specific symbol.

But most pagan religions are Nature religions, so some universal Nature symbol might be good. One person suggested something with a moon and stars, I think that would be good. Another widespread pagan symbol is that of the tree; trees are sacred in many pagan religions. If you know she likes Celtic artwork, then something like a claddagh might be good. A claddagh is a ring with two hands holding a heart; it's a sign of friendship, but it can be romantic love too. But it can be more difficult to buy someone a ring, if you don't know their finger size. A pendant can fit almost anyone.

Another option besides a symbol on the jewelry would be to get her a pendant with a precious stone. Most pagans regard gem stones as very magical, and they can ascribe whatever meaning to it they want. Someone else suggested quartz, which is fine; but it's perhaps a bit more New Age than pagan. Pagans tend to be fond of amethyst, you might consider that.

Good luck!
