This question is for Christians only:
There was a christian guy that the Lord gave me a chance to date after I had followed Him for 6 years but I rebelled against God, stopped seeking Him completely...
Then 3 years later I realized I needed to return to God... by this time... I was no longer on good terms with this guy... He kind of had a negative view of me and started avoiding me...
And God came to me in a dream and showed me that only the cross of Christ could make me beautiful enough to win over this man who had long gone lost interest in me
Not beauty
Not charm, intelligence, popularity or wealth
ONLY the cross of Christ...
If you could have any man that you wanted or desired by carrying the cross of Christ would you do it?
It's not possible. Only YOU are responsible for your own life.

Okay so I'm 14 and going to try to enter a few fiction contest on a story I just wrote. can anyone tell me if Its good enough? Be completely honest. even if its mean... thanks =]
Once Upon a time, there were two magically charming people. These people lived in two different sides of the nation, and happened to cross each others path on one fateful day. Although they were two completely different people from two completely different places, their personalities complimented each other in almost every single way.
Vincent, a popular, charming man who came from the poor areas in a place called New Angeles. He was very independent and was street smart. Then there was Isabella, a rich, beautiful girl from a very elegant place call Los York. She has been sheltered and protected for most of her life. While Vincent was visiting in Los York for a week, the magnetic forces brought Isabella and He in the exact same place at the exact same time just to bump into each other. Isabella was absolutely mush when she looked into his eyes. Vincent tried to play things cool, but that was just a mask.
No doubt they had an immediate connection from the beginning. They exchanged emails and phone numbers, then went their separate ways. Vincent thought he would never hear from her again, how could a boy from the streets of New Angeles have anything to do with a rich girl like her? One week later and Vincent was back home. He found Isabella's phone number and decided to send her a little text message. She immediately replied, this was a long road to their newly born friendship. They talk everyday, all day. They soon found out they shared the same interests and music. Although sometimes they had little disagreements and fights. Always to make up. Isabella soon discovered she was in love with Vincent, more than she was in love than the moon or the sea.
Vincent felt the same way, except there was a sort of problem. You see, Vincent had a longtime Girlfriend of many months, who he was equally in love with. She was also beautiful but there was something about her that was not quite right. She was an insanely jealous person. Vincent thought it was the right thing to tell his girlfriend that he was also in love with another woman. It was then her jealousy took over, she was determined and out to get Isabella. Isabella was confused on why Vincent would love a girl who was like that, and began to feel unimportant. She told Vincent that she couldn't talk to him anymore, because she was starting to feel the hurt that they would never be together, and thought it would be the best thing to do and move on. Vincent was hurt and mad. After several months of not speaking and once everything was getting back to normal for Isabella, Vincent came back into her life.
Through those months, Vincent broke up with his girlfriend and realized he was very in love with Isabella. He drove all the way to Los York to prove his love and have an amazing day together, and surely it was amazing. After they said goodbye, she was finally happy Vincent was her new boyfriend and was so in love with him. Vincent though, was not too excited. He never knew how to make up his mind, and decided he could not stay with Isabella. Isabella was completely heartbroken, and months went by. One day, Vincent text messaged Isabella with a big apology and an explanation, but to Isabella everything was different now. She was finally over him, they used to be so close but could no longer keep the friendship or anything. Isabella was always the other girl, she could never be the girl. That is how it would stay for now.

My journey to becoming agnostic, open minded.
Grew up in Uk where you are forced in school to pray and sing Christian songs every morning which I didn't really agree with, "All things bright and Beautiful la la la..." I did have many friends of all faiths, muslims, sikh, hindu, buddhist and even plymouth brevran so I've never felt the need to insult people but instead asked them about their faith but come to the conclusion that none of them have enough evidence to convince me.
Inside there is a feeling that there is something out there after death but I can't possibly accept the illogical bible stories. It may have a trace of truce in it, we all know what happens in the whispers game just in a room full of people so this story had 1000s of years to get distorted with different accounts within it and the very fact that faith has split up into many that can't even agree with each other is proof in the pudding.
My personal thoughts, there may have been a young pregnant girl who pulled the wool over her husbands eyes, pretending to be a virgin, there may have been a charming man such as Jesus, there a people with healing powers around today, probably got nailed on the cross in the same way that women got burned at the stake for witch behavior. It also seem that Christians nicked and molded some pagan ideas, i.e christmas trees etc. I can't believe Jesus didn't have a wife and kids unless he was gay or a sexual, who knows. I do think there could be some consequences for bad behavior and we have a guilty conscience for a reason but not "eternal burning hell " bollox!
I also feel like there is a lot of evidence that ghosts can be true. I've seen a couple of things in my life that I can't explain.
So share your thoughts with me, agnostics are ever curious!
I asked Agnostics for thoughts, no where in my question does it say Atheists and Christians come and attack me and try to force your viewpoint down my troat! Then again wouldn't expect anything different from closed minded people!
Chill out Zombie! I'm humble enough not to claim I'm right and strong enough to not to need brainwashing into only one answer!
Sounds like you've done a lot of solid thinking, and I admire your willingness to apply logic and reason to your choices, and not just blindly accept what you were taught. I agree with pretty much everything you said. There just isn't enough evidence to even remotely support the claims of most major religions; and, while the possibility exists that there may be something else out there, at our current stage of development there is just no way to know for sure. So I won't waste the brief time I have mumbling incantations in church or trying to convince other people to believe what I believe.

...DVD Verdict Review - Mad Men: Season Three (Blu-Ray)
Opening Statement
Though its parallels with ancient Rome are not exact, Mad Men is very much a show about the decline and fall of a way of life, and about how historical change feels to the individuals who live through it. In its third season all Hell really does break loose as our Madison Avenue ad men (and woman) weather the tumultuous events of 1963. It's far more than a guided tour of American history, though, and this phenomenal season connects national and personal events with more grace than ever. Sumptuously filmed, beautifully acted, and subtly written, it's become the best show on the air today—with a well-deserved fourth season starting this July on AMC.
