cross pendant jewellery

I am looking for a STURDY 14k gold chain that will show up nice with this pendant and wont be too much. the cross is 14k gold with diamonds? what is the best type of chain to go with this, rope, box, filigree, etc? Please reply ASAP if you know anything about jewelry and style thanks

I had my necklace hanging around my rearview mirror in my car and forgot to lock it (I almost always lock my car) and someone stole it and my shades. I have seen them with leather necklaces and with silver chain necklaces that I have liked but really all I care about is the pendant I can buy a necklace that I like from a local jewelry store. I haven't been able to find a cross that I like yet though.

Interesting... what kind of "sytle" is it that wants him to wear a cross, like freakazoid goth or something...

I'm prolly not the one to ask, since I dislike seeing it on ANYONE. It is a symbol of torture, not to mention a reminder of the slaughter of thousands of peaceful people, in the name of that symbol.

So, I equated this to the question, would I, as a pagan, consider it inappropriate for a non-pagan to wear a pentacle, just for show?

The answer is that it would bug me a little, since it is a special symbol for us, but it would make me hope that the wearer would be curious enough about paganism to find out more about it and possibly follow it as their spiritual path.

So, if THAT happened to a non-Christian, ie, the non-Christian cross wearer got curious about Christianity and decided to research it, and then decided to (perish the thought) convert.....

THEN I would find it objectionable. Wearing a symbol that ends up leading an innocent non-Christian into that religion would, to me, be horrible. Another mind wasted.

If the religion was Christianity.

Other than that, I would just think it would look silly for him to wear it. He is portraying himself as something he is not, and hopefully won't become.

How old is your brother? Is he so young that style is more important than substance? With all due respect, it sort of sounds like it.

I'm kind of undecided about this. I want to get a cross pendant. Not anything too flashy, but at the same time I'm not looking for something completely dull either.
