I am curious as to how durable this piece is. I wear my jewelry every day, and sometimes I go for long periods of time without ever taking it off. Any reviews would be helpful (how long you have owned it, did the chain ever break, did Tiffanys fix it for free...) No, I don't usually shop at such upscale boutiques. This was a special "just broke up with the ex" treat!

Tiffanys won't even clean my jewelry for free they charge me like 30 bucks to make it look new again. I would never recomend showering with silver on, it will tarnish very easly. a couple of my friends do have this necklace and i have yet to see one break, so you don't really have to much to worry about there. most jewelry stores with give you a silver polishing cloth for free or sell you one for a few dollars. that should keep your silver looking shiny and new!

I'd appreciate these kind of gifts and would wear them without hesitation. It's much more special than a shirt bought somewhere that'll be thrown away sooner or later. Though I don't like words on jewelry, especially on a bracelet (reminds me of those basketball and WWJD bracelets).

It depends on the person. Some people can't or won't wear jewelry at all. I think bracelets are the easiest for someone to wear, and rings/necklaces being the hardest.
