Alot of girls love jewellery, may it be gold or silver, colourful or beady or maybe dog chains and spikes.
I was wondering why us girls wear jewellery. Is it to impress guys? I know that I wear jewellery cause its pretty and I feel pretty wearing it but where did this originate?

That totally varies from guy to guy. I personally think that jewelery wearing was in past treated as a status symbol when girls loaded with gold and diamond were understood to be from high status families.
Personally, I am not a fan of girls wearing jewelery. Anything cute that goes with the dress, time of the day and your target outlook is fine but dont over do jewelery lest the focus of the looker shifts from the beautiful yourself to your jewelery.
Just make sure in the overall outlook, you should look like the most beautiful jewel.
