Ok so I went to this conference talking about the mormon culture since I am in the west and how as Christian can talk the Gospel to a person who is mormon.

No, we wear both. Protestants, on the other hand, don't tend to wear crucifixes since they tend to believe that having the image of Jesus on the cross is some kind of idolatry. Silly, but that's what some of them think. I prefer a crucifix to a cross but I've worn both. I think it's more poignant to have Jesus on the cross. I don't like to remove the suffering from the image and make it generic.

Yes, it's wrong. First off we don't believe in the crucification so there isn't much meaning of it for you. Second of all, muslims are supposed to dress differently and distinctly from non-muslims, so crosses are a big no-no. Also, it's kind of false advertising don't you think? People definitely will think you're christian, so what's the point? Wear ISLAM proud! Might i suggest getting a crescent and star necklace, as it actually represents you?
