pendant jewellery

This is the part which is squeezed (using pliers) onto the holes in a bead or pendant so it can be attached to a further hoop or jump ring....i can't think what they're called. It's a kind of clasp but not really as clasp usually describes the end of a chain/cord. I am after the thing which actually holds the pendant. Does anyone know what I mean? Jxxx

Yes, it's a bail. The type may be described as a "bead holder" or "ice pick" bail.

Most pentacles pendents that I find usually are silver and mixing a silver pendent with a gold necklace will not look right, so how can I work this out?
Or an there any inexpensive gold pentacles pendents out there?

Aside from the methods described in http://www.silverstall.com/silver%20pend ants.html does anyone know of an easy method to isolate the main body of the jewellery item when welding a silver link or pendant clasp onto it.

I'm talking about things like enamel postcards, teacups, Eiffel towers and ruby slippers the sort of charms and pendants you'd see on necklaces in Accessorize or Urban Outfitters?

There's a few people selling these sorts of necklaces on eBay but I can't figure out where they're getting the pendants from!

Is there a wholesaler I should know about?!

Try Fire Mountain Gems - I believe they ship everywhere. I've seen charms in themes that you could use for a pendant. Also, if you want to get really creative, they sell the materials & tools to make your own silver jewelry. I'm going to buy that sometime this year. Check their link. They have a great staff that can answer questions. And they have all kinds of charts, how-to videos etc...
