pendant necklace jewelry

want real gold or silver, just a cylinder type charm or pendant to hand on a chain as a necklace. do any of you happen to know of a site or store or some where to find these? and i don't wat it in the shape of a cross. we are not that kind of religious. thank you for any help you have.

i think your best bet will be to just search google, and yahoo, and check out every site till you find one you like. a friend of mine's boyfriend passed away and she wanted a neckalce like what your describing to put some of his ashes in for her and one for their daughter. she was 8 months old when he was killed and she wanted her to have something of him, since she won't be remembering him.

you can go to any jeweller to customize it. most jewellery shops customize things for people but make sure it's an experienced one or one you've been to before

I would like to start making pendants out of resin, but would like to know how to attach it to a bail without drilling a hole into the pendant, is there an easy way? not sure how to add it to the necklace, but if drilling is a must, is it a difficult process and what kind of drill would i use? thanks in advance

You don't have to drill, although that's usually the most secure way to fasten. You can buy bails that are designed to be glued on. The links are to examples from 'Fire Mountain Gems' (a great supply house), but Michael's and other stores that sell craft and jewelry supplies likely have them, too.

I was recently inspired to make my own jewelry and have always thought that jewelry that people wear everyday or that has sentimental value to the person is the best kind. Is there any specific type of jewelry that you wear on a daily basis or your favorite necklace/pendant/etc? If so, how big is it and why is it special to you? (if you want to tell you can if you don't its fine too)

I wear a necklace my boyfriend gave me on a holiday in New Zealand everyday :) It is a silver chain with a filigree heart pendant (about 1/2") and a blue topaz in the center. It's beautiful!
