Okay, so over the summer (June 2009?) I bought a religious bracelet from Urban Outfitters. They sold it in black and white, but my friend's mother had a black one, so I got a white one. I've been wearing it for a while and I've asked my dad (who's a Catholic) and my mom (who's a Baptist) and several of my Catholic friends who some of the saints are, because I can pick out most of them.
So far I can only make out:
Jesus (duh), Jesus on the cross, Mary Jesus and Joseph together, Mary, and St. Therese.
The bead things are circular, and it's sort of a stretchy bracelet. I've tried to search Urban Outfitters but it's not on the website anymore.
Does anyone else have this bracelet? Does anyone perhaps know the rest of the saints? Please and thanks :)

I met a guy I like. He is 27, has his life together and is very sweet. But, he has a Freemason ring his grandfather gave him, used to play in a death metal band and has some interesting tattoos. He said they represent the fall of man. The tattoos are Jesus with a serpent coming out of his mouth, a priest with 666 on his hand and upside down cross on his head. There are other things, these are just what stood out to me.
Anyway, I am not sure if he is satanic, or just anti religion. What do you people think? Also, he gave me a black beaded bracelet and said his friend who made called it "black candy." Does anyone know what this means?
Any sincere and honest opinions are greatly appreciated. Any Freemason information is helpful as well.

A catholic friend of mine got a green jade bracelet , it is made of round green jade beads and has a small jade crusifix on it. Is the jade of some religious significance?
What you're describing is a rosary bracelet. The beads represent one decade of the rosary, as opposed to the full rosary usually worn around the neck. The composition of the bead is not of any significance that I'm aware of, and is pretty much a question of the wearer's preference.

The one she bought me is exactly the same, but it doesn't have the beads on the side of the Cross. She always wears one herself and she's Christian or Orthodox Christian, I'm not sure. I'm Presbytarian, and I loved the bracelet so she bought me one and said that I can't take it off, even when I sleep and shower. She never takes hers off, and I'm a little worried if Presbytarians could wear bracelets like this, and if it's alright to take if off? Thank you for answering :)
It's just a bracelet and it's quite OK for you to take it off, nothing nasty will happen. I suspect your friend is Greek Orthodox and the bracelet probably holds a special religious meaning for her, but that doesn't mean you have to do what she does.
You are both Christian, although your churches have some slight differences, so even as a Presbyterian you can still wear this bracelet.
