for about 5 years now i have been anti god. a lot of bad things have happened in my life. (i guess i blamed god). to make a long story short, my wife and i own a country store, it has all sorts of antiques and collectibles. something strange happened yesterday. i had a customer in our store yesterday looking at some religious pieces i have. i showed them to her and she purchased them. just another day, until...she asked me if i knew jesus. i said i do...she then went on by saying he sent her in here to get me to come back. after she left i was kind of weirded out because i didn't really give any hints to the problem im having with faith. out of no where she said this. if you saw my store it has all sorts of religious collectibles, and antiques. so from the outside looking in you wouldn't think i was having problems with faith. was she a messenger, or just a whacked out religious person? ohh left something out she was from out of state, 2 states away from me so she didn't know anything about me or our store she just kinda found it. please help, im very confused.
With the information you gave, it seems as though God did send someone to you, and for the good.
Nothing negative has come of this. It has made you question your level of faith, and you will only gain good things from it, if you concentrate on Our Merciful Lord.
The worst thing that could happen is you stay where you are, without getting closer to Our Lord.
But the good thing that could come out of this *and possibly God's plan* is to draw you closer to Him, as you may have drifted.
Often in the Holy Scriptures it speaks of God using others to carry out His Divine Plan. He uses others in such a way that will make us question, and ultimately come closer to Him.
You have nothing to lose by prayer either. Ask Our Lord what He wants for you. Ask Him to guide you. I often ask daily for God to deepen my faith. I have not been disappointed.
Great question, and a star for you.

I'm going to own a store, and sell weird and random religious collectables.
Like a Jesus seat cushion.
A dalai llama plate, cup and silverware set.
Religious books in weird ways. Bible- Cowboy bible, Gansta bible, lolcat bible!
and more.
Would you go in? and atleast look?
Yes, it would be interesting. A couple of religions have rewritten the Bible already to suit their purposes (mormons, jehovah's witnesses) so why not a gangsta Bible? Maybe a dictionary of gibberish for people who speak in tongues.

possessions of no monetary value but very distinct of the relatives character would you want a personal piece of memorabilia? And, how long would you wait if you are child of the relative to sort out the possessions?
Example of possessions:
religious artifacts - rosaries, bibles, statues....
China Dishes...
Variety of collectible dishes (minimal value)
Clothing & costume jewelry....
Thank you for real answers
If I was the child of the relative, I'd wait until I was ready. 3-6 months maybe?
I'm trying to think of some real special gifts for some rlly important ppl in my life this Christmas. Help would be nice.
My husband is 21, a Marine, downright country and the farthest from metrosexual as he can be.. He's deploying to Japan in March so I was hoping to get him something he could take with him.
My sister is 18, in college, pretty into appearances, and very uhm spunky i guess?
My baby sis is 16, very unique, and musically gifted with the acoustic guitar.
Mom is 38, religious, not into makeup or jewelry, and likes antiques and collectibles.
Dads 40, all about mlb(yankees) & nfl(steelers), and his chevy truck.
I'm trying to make these facts connect, but i cant think of anything meaningful enough. help me please? i wanna spend at least $100 on each person.
$100 gift card for each person
Usually, it will be Jesus, Mary and some other religious scene. They are on angled slats or something, and depending on where you view the picture from, you'll see something different. They also have cheapie versions where there's a plastic coating with lines in it -- something from a Cracker Jack box or gumball machine. I know that those things are very kitschy collectibles, but I can't figure out what they are called to successfully search for them!!!!! Thanks :)

It's not a panoramic picture, and it's not a triptych, as suggested below. It's more like a lenticular picture, but not quite.
They are called triptics

Synergy Collectibles: Religious Devotionals | Notes From the Lane
Did you ever purchase a box of miscellaneous trinkets from an estate sale and discover some wonderful treasure buried within? That is how I was introduced to collecting religious artifacts. In that box of miscellany was a relic. Intrigued by the unusual medal, I began to research that particular relic and recognized the popularity of these religious collectibles. That special item sold instantly and subsequently, many collectors contacted me. I learned of personal shrines and various other religious items they were in search of.
Since that time, I have had the honor of providing many interesting and beautiful veneration's. Collectors become passionate about an item they love. Antique prayer books, mother of pearl crosses, rosaries, tiny enameled miraculous medals are sought after, as are reliquaries as well as holy water fonts, icons and statutes. Religious collectibles can provide solace, protection and a source of devotional strength.
...New social networking site breaks down religious boundaries with ...
Religious groups around the world have united in welcoming a new social networking site that is designed to make religion more accessible to young people.
‘FaithBook’ offers features that mirror those on similar networking sites, but reflect the diversity of global religious practices and beliefs. Users build up their own network of contacts, or Society of Friends. They communicate with each other by writing on their ‘Wailing Walls’, or by direct messaging via the Tablet facility. Specially-designed emoticons range from Sunni (happy) to Shiite (sad), and include Catholic (disapproving), Hindu (vegetarian) and Zen (‘whatever’).
In an exciting revamp of the craze for collectibles, FaithBook users can visit a separate room on the site to buy or swap ‘virtual’ Poke-a-Nun cards. ‘Fancy a He-Brew?’ is a separate discussion forum about builder’s tea.
