What is the religious symbol that looks alot like a cross, but it has a circle (or ring) on the top of it. I don't believe it's a christian cross variant. I previously thought it was an eastern religious symbol but i'm not sure. I can't find any pics on google because I don't know what it's attributed to.

Would it be wierd if I give my boyfriend a purity/abstinence ring for Christmas? I know that parents usually give purity rings to their kids at age 13-16, so I'm wondering if it would be wierd for me to give it to him.. Purity is very important to us. I think it would be a nice present to get, but I don't know what his reaction would be.. But that's not the only thing I'll be giving him, of course.

I think it would be presumptuous of you... that's an awfully personal thing. I would discuss this with him and exchange "promise" rings for Valentine's day. Perhaps another religious piece such as a gold cross he could wear would be more appropriate.
