Does a wheel-shaped piece of stone jewelry have religious connotations?

I own a small ring of semi-precious stone (it's a mix of blue, white, and brown speckles) which I found at a bead store. But I'm curious--does it have any religious meaning? I don't want to be ignorant of its value and meaning to others. I thought maybe it had native american or buddhist value but I don't remember now.

It may be of some value in the Hindu religion. You will have to find out what those colors are (which stone?) and then check what sorta luck the stone has for you. You can search that online.

Do you wear any religious jewelry and/or symbols?

If so, what form of jewelry and what symbols representing what religion how? Also, do you wear it/them where others can see it? Has anybody ever asked about it/them? Any conflict because of them? Just curious.

I myself like to wear a necklace with a dragon claw holding a blue marble at the end. The claw has four toes representing the four elements to me, and the blue marble represents water which is the element of my sign, Scorpio. Also, my Chinese zodiac sign happens to be the dragon. In effect, it represents me and my being Eclectic by borrowing bits from different religions to make a unique religion that works for just me.
I also wear a ring with the Star of David on it representing my Jewish upbringing.

I do wear both where people can see them. I've only been asked once about the necklace. The person was just curious what it was.

I wear a silver greenman pendant on a necklace, where everyone can see it. The greenman (look at my avatar pic) is one of the oldest and most widely spread pagan symbols, present in nearly all the original pagan religions.
Hardly anybody ever pays any attention to it, I guess they just write it off as an ornament or something.

I also carry with me a Mjollner (Or Mjolnir as some people spell it), but I keep it away from sight because nowadays it's somewhat popular to wear one among the stupid kids who think Thor is a cool Marvel character or listen to too much viking metal. I don't want to be mistaken with that lot. Those, to whom my loyalty is important, will know I keep it.

How is Egyptian Jewellery Religious?

I need some information about how Egyptian jewellery was religious, and what it protected people from..
so far this is all i got..
Jewellery was important in an everyday lifestyle for the Egyptians. It was used for religious reasons, but also fashionable reasons. They created jewellery with natural and beautiful gems, beads, shells, plant branches, stones, and even bones. These were designed in threads of flax or even cow hair. People sometimes painted it with glass substances to give it shine and clarity. Both men and women wore jewellery, rich or poor. Men wore simple symbolic jewellery, while women wore much larger, colourful, and decorated jewellery. As Societies and technology developed in time, people started using gold, and silver to create a more complex rang of jewellery.
Jewellery was used as religious beliefs because jewellery would protect people from evil beyond the Nile, from spirits, enemies, and also danger. People used different ways to express the message of the jewellery. Some were cartouches (hieroglyphics), most were symbolized as ankh, or even the eye of Ra.

okay , i am egyptian so i can tell u for sure that nowadays a man wearing jewelery is very provoking, and in islam men should not wear gold. another point, most people in egypt buy jew. and gold bec they think it is a way to invest and not out of spirituality. also hieroglyphics iin gold is only made for tourists we don't really buy it. however sometimes ( and mostly) women wear jewelry with islamic inscriputions and verses for quran bec they think it keeps the evil eye away!

http://www.sterlingsilverart.com/Rings-o ther/c32_57/p81/Crown-Ring/product_info. html at this link, there is this crown ring that has a selection of gemstones that you can choose from. which one would look the best on this ring next to a silver band with gold feet because thats what im going to wear it with on my finger---this is kind of what the foot ring looks like except the gold parts are silver and the silver parts are gold on mine: http://www.kaboodle.com/reviews/footprin ts-in-the-sand-ring-inspirational-religi ous-comfort-to-men-and-women-fine-solid- 10k-gold-diamond-jewelry I kind of like the original gemstone on the example but what about the citrine. help me please

I think that the ruby would be perfect because the color is vivid and it shows elegance. Also a deep blue would be good because people could loose themselves in it.
