Question mostly for men?

My 1 year anniversary is coming up and I'm thinking about getting my boyfriend a men's silver cross necklace. Any thoughts or opinions? I have a few picked out below. Please tell me if you like them, or which one you like best. All help and opinions appreciated!

I know I'm not a guy... but heres my opinion anyways =]

I think the one from Kay is a little too plain, and it's really thin... The one from JcPenney is nice with the dimension to it and has adds nice touch with the diamond accent... But, my favorite is the one from Zales.. I think it looks very nice. It's not too plain and it looks like a man's cross

=]

P.S...I'm actually looking to get a sterling silver cross for my boyfriends birthday

Good luck!

How would you describe these characters?

This follows on from a scene in which the main character (faye) is involved in the murder of a rapist.

he next day, deep within the city of Melbourne, a small and not-so-popular CD store was being watched by a young man who stood at its doors spying on the girl who was slumped over the counter. The girl’s tiny frame was rising up and down slowly with each breath she took, and all he could see was her spiky black, pink and blue hair resting atop her folded arms. Treading silently across the store, the man grinned in excitement, brushing his chestnut fringe from his eyes. A scraggly beard covered his chin and cheeks, and he wore very stereotypical nerdy glasses over his light blue eyes. When he approached the counter, he extended a hand, intending to slap the girl on the back of the head.
“Go away, Bryce,” the girl said suddenly in a clear voice, not looking up. “Can’t you see I’m working?”
“You call this working?” He shoved his hands into the pockets of her jeans and looked at her with a sarcastic smile.
“I’m working to stay awake,” she clarified.
“But are you getting paid for it?”
The girl sighed and stood up straight, the top of her head barely reaching his hairy chin.
“No, I’m not. But I wish I was.”
Bryce regarded her thoughtfully, taking in the dark rings under her brown eyes and the unusual pale pallor of her skin. Faye had always been pale, but this was more of a sickly tone than her usual white.
“Jeez, Faye, even your hair is kind of flat,” he noted, glancing at her head. “What did you do last night?”
Faye touched her hair uncertainly and scowled at him. “I’ve just been laying on it, dolt.”
“Dolt? Who uses that word anymore?”
“I do, obviously.” She looked up at her best friend through narrowed eyes. “Did you come here to make my day worse, or is there a reason for this unwanted interruption?”
“Aw, I missed you too, honey.”
The girl grunted and wiggled the mouse of the computer beside her, bringing the dormant screen to life.
Bryce continued as if she was being friendly and accommodating. “Actually, I came by to see you. Surprising, I know. Usually I come in here to buy questionable music and depressing posters.” He glanced around at the dark walls depicting death-metal bands and men clad in leather and medieval buckles. Everything in the store followed this theme, from the music to the workers. Faye was sporting a black leather jacket and white singlet underneath, paired with tight black jeans and a long silver cross necklace. This necklace, and her silver nose stud and many earrings, was the only jewellery she ever wore.
“Don’t mock me in my own store. I can kick you out, if I wanted to.”
“But you don’t,” he grinned. “Admit it. You were secretly praying I would come in and say hello. Or something else that constitutes a greeting amongst friends.”
“I’ve got a greeting for you.” She gave him the finger and continued to click at icons on the screen, not really aware of what she was doing.

So how would you describe them both? I'm just trying to see if people view them as how i imagine them to be.

Thanks for your help!

i see faye as a totall bad ass who has a very sacastic ataude and comes back up with verry witty remarks and come backs.she tries to see the good in people

bryce- the good guy gone bad he seems nice and innocent on the outside and has him self convinced himself of that for the most part, but when he snaps its like and alter ega and he fights himself to try and forget that part of himself

My friend's mother thinks I'm Jewish, help! Is she weird? Why does she care?

Sometimes I go to visit my friend Teri. Her mom is usually home. I noticed the last few times I've been over, she tries to question me about my ancestry & whether or not I am Jewish

1. first, when I was introduced to her she said about my name, "that's Jewish, right?" (my name has a "man" in it)

2. I was wearing a silver cross necklace my grandma gave me & she said to me "that's a nice necklace, why are YOU wearing it?" and I told her & she said "oh, aren't you Jewish?"

3. I asked her why she thought I was Jewish & she said "oh, you look it." in a rather nasty way.

4. she asked me what countries my family is from and then said "are you sure about that?" like she didn't believe me.

Her daughter & I always get confused for sisters or twins, so, if I "look it," so must her daughter!

I am sure this family is not Jewish, so what's her deal? And why is it so important to her?

thanks guys!
btw I"m Catholic! so that's why I
"try hard" to deny it.

she sounds like my mom!

Let me paint a picture for you R&P...?

Imagine:
The stage is bathed in an eerie red glow...Huge gates wrap around the crossed amps...Oddly realistic gargoyles stare over the crowd with bright red eyes....and then the music starts...soft at first but growing as the seconds tick...a growing feeling of excitement and darkness washes over every man and woman present...then-
The simple legendary growl of the beat up SG echoes through the theater....a man clothed in a leather trench coat and a single silver cross necklace is illuminated by the pale light. His dark curls fall almost neatly around his spectacles...
Another man in a flowing red and black coat holding a beat up bass joins his darkly dressed fellow, as a third climbs to the drums and sits upon his throne...then-
The fourth enters...his small frame engulfed by his pitch black flowing shirt...his wispy hair seemingly floating around his head....he lifts a single hand-the sign of the Devil, the sign of metal....the crowd erupts as the brilliant madness of Black Sabbath overtakes them...

Hey R&P! I saw Black Sabbath last night! Well with Dio! I prefer em with Dio, considering how much i'm obsessed with him. Concert last night was amazing...I saw 4 legends...Iommi was killer and Dio's vocals have stood the test of time.

MQ: Been to any concerts lately?
MQ: Favorite Sabbath song?
xD Sorry I felt like writing!
Haha had fun writing that

What an awesome picture! I am so glad you had a good time and came back to tell us about it all. Dio is so much fun in concert and Iommi is an icon.

MA: No, unfortunately!
MA2: So many. Let's go with Heaven and Hell.

  • 10 Types of Jewelry for Men – Tungsten Talk amp; Metal Musings: The ...

When we think of jewelry, we automatically think of jewelry for women. These days it is becoming increasingly common and fashionable for men to wear jewelry. Although much of men’s jewelry serves a purpose, there are many items that have no other purpose than to complement a man’s natural good looks. Read on to discover some obvious (and some not so obvious) jewelry choices for men.

Make a Statement with Men’s Jewelry

    1. Watches

Timepieces have been around for a few centuries and serve a useful purpose. Jewelry or machine? Honestly, a watch is really a piece of jewelry that also happens to tell time. This is a way to get men who do not like wearing “jewelry” to actually wear jewelry without knowing it. The type of watch worn has to match the image the man wants to project,: a Rolex for the executive, a Swatch for the artist, a Nike for the athlete. Since many men have active lifestyles, there are different watches designed for different activities.
