silver jewelry charm

Is there any reason to buy tiffany silver jewelry, other than wanting a little blue box? I have been wanting to buy myself a silver charm bracelet and have been considering "investing" in a tiffany bracelet. Does it really matter if it is from tiffany's or from a place like things remembered? Does tiffany's jewelry really appreciate in value? Is there any reason to buy tiffany if you don't need the blue box?

well...it says Tiffany's on it...which (sad as it is) elevates your coolness by about 5%.
I have a Tiffany necklace...people comment on it a lot. It's very nice. It does give my neck a rash though.
But I still like it.

I have never shopped on epay. I have been browsing and came across some sterling silver charm bracelets and several bids are almost closing at like $5-$.. They are very inexpensive. however the sellers are in hong kong and singapore. Most are in China. Is this safe to buy from them and why is it so cheap in price?

I want to start making jewelry. I want to put a small (very small) charm on every item I make as my signature. I cannot find many small charms on websites. Any suggestions?

You could always use a "metal clay" and make your own charm anyway you want.

I have an emotionally valuable pin that is silver. I want to have it turned into a charm on a bracelet, but I don't wear silver jewelry, so I was hoping it was possible to plate it with gold and then put in on a gold chain. Is that possible?

Silver plated with gold is called "vermeil" (ver-MAY). You'd probably want to talk to a local jeweler about having your pin plated.
