silver necklace and pendant

you know those 'cash for gold' type shops
around how much do you think i could get for a necklace on a silver chain, and the pendant has 3 pearls and a couple small crystals/diamonds

I know why you're asking this, you're not sure whether or not to give it away! Ask yourself, "will I ever wear this again?" or "Would Grandma want this for her birthday this year?" before you decide that you want to sell it. But if you do decide pendants are for elders I'd say a few hundred dollars but not something drastic like 1,000. I may be totally wrong but I hope this helps!!!!

I had my necklace hanging around my rearview mirror in my car and forgot to lock it (I almost always lock my car) and someone stole it and my shades. I have seen them with leather necklaces and with silver chain necklaces that I have liked but really all I care about is the pendant I can buy a necklace that I like from a local jewelry store. I haven't been able to find a cross that I like yet though.

I have a real good friend whose Croation and she has a silver Pendant/necklace with the Croatian coat of arms on it, but she got it as a gift from someone. And i was wondering if anyone knew where I could find something like that for Macedonia. And please this is a simple question I would really appriciate answers that are relevent and not starters of political debates....your not gonna get any points so why waste your time.

Take a picture of the Macedonian coat of arms to a jeweller and he/she will be able to make a pendant with it on. My one time girlfriend was a goldsmith and did that sort of thing regularly. I suppose you have pics of the coat of arms , but if not they are on this site.

I have a silver chain that was given to me, and well i am looking for something really really cool to put on it (only buying through ebay). Can anyone give me some good ideas? I thought of Thors Hammer, Celtic Cross (or knot) and even a roman coin inside a pendant. Need some ideas people!!! THANKS!!!!!

Our sitter is very nice and she bought a silver necklace with a jade pendant for our son. Instead of giving it to us, she put it on him. Obviously we want to be appreciative and respectful and would leave it if it's no big deal. My questions are... is silver safe for a baby to wear? are there any potential choking hazard with the necklace? Thanks much for your help.

No. Nothing should be around the baby's neck. Your baby could start sucking on the pendant and choke. Hang the necklace in a special spot in the baby's room to show you appreciate the gift.
