Ive got a silvercross 3D travel system and im struggling to fit it into the back of my mums car (we car share till i get my own). Does anyone have any tips on how i can easily fit the pram into the boot? would taking off the parcel shelf help?

Try it with the parcel shelf off, the buggy you have isnt the smallest, i have the same and i have had to take my parcel shelf off my corsa to get it in more easily, dont get me wrong it fits but is a bit stiff getting out.

If you are getting another car soon it wont be for too long and to be honest even if you get a big car you will soon be taking the shelf off to fit even more stuff in it - i have seen large cars absolutely loaded with kids stuff continuously round my way.

I cant read the instruuctions without cutting off the tags and want to check it fits in my car first before i cut them off. Only problem is i cant get the hood off and i need to to be able to get the carseat into the back of the car!! Anyone know as i dont want to snap it!! Might be the same with other carseats so feel free to help!

they slide on. Try sliding it upwards. Thats how my silver cross carseat works.

Its the version that has a buggy unit that swivels round so baby can face either way.
I had one for my daughter about 7 yrs ago but i am having difficulty finding a nice one now.

try the silvercross website they have tons of beautiful prams or even ebay.

I'm just being lazy while scouring the net for the right pushchair/car seat combination but I can't seem to find anything anywhere which tells me the carseat will fit in my car. Does anybody out there have any experience with this? Many thanks in advance!

as long as the carseat is with isofix,i don`t think there will be a problem about that.............all carseats nowadays are with isofix to fit in any car make and model.
