sliver cross

the frame on this pram is a weird shape not round like most other prams

i bought a buggy board from argos the seems to fit on mine fine.
i tried another buggy board before that one and it wouldnt fit on so you just need the right one i surpose.

I wandered into a catholic "christan supplies" shop today, it was odd.

The first thing i saw was an ornate sliver cross (about 8" high) with something like "our anniversary" written in the middle. In amongst other wedding anniversary gifts. This seems like a weird juxtaposition to me. Crosses seem kind of solemn rather than loving? Like graves, execution, martyrdom, sin and redemption.

There was also a 2-meter-long string of glow-in-the-dark rosary beads, but that was just plain tacky rather than confusing.

At first I though it was weird since the cross is a torture device, but I can see how it fits. In the bible is says that the man should love the wife as Christ loved the church. Since christ loved to the extent of the cross then that is the man's measure of love for his wife.

Now if you carbon date it, you might find out that it isn't from the right time period, but then again, we all know carbon dating is one of the devil's 'science tools' and any respectable follower of Christ knows that.
