small cross earring

I had one years ago which i lost and i cant seem to buy one anywhere now! Have tried ebay and the like but they only have ones with diamondy type things and i only want a simple plain one

I have a small cross on my dangle fish hook earring, and I have this rubber thing, so it prevents the hook from getting out of my ear, but can I sleep with it in my ear ?

I want to sell some Royal Mint jewellery (unwanted gifts) to a scrap gold/ second hand jewellery merchant but I don't know what it is worth. I have the following:
A 9ct gold chain & cross bar (with 10 small diamonds) & a 22ct half sovereign pendant from 2003 - limited edition of 5000. Also a pair of 9ct gold earrings in a cross design with a small emerald in the centre & very small diamonds. Finally a sterling silver fine chain with pendant & 3 small sapphires. Can anyone help? What is the minimum I should take? I had a look on www.royalmint.com & the jewellery on there isn't cheap, but if you are selling it on second hand what sort of price can you expect to get?

You would be well advised to take them to a reputable jewellery store or two, or a reputable pawnbroker, they also buy scrap gold and will give you a fair price.

Obviously you wont get full values as they need a margin for profit. If i were you i would also consider a reputable auction house as you might get a better price there, but get a valuation first and put a reserve on at 70% of full value.

and do you get asked so many time about what it means as i do? I find it so annoying when people want me to explain what the coffin around my neck means...

I don't wear one.....but not that I've seen the pic, looks pretty darn cool. I would def wear the earrings.

Is it that they want to be closer to God by wearing a Christian symbol Are they wearing it as a symbol of hatred like the old Romans did when they crucified Jews and other non citizens and Christ . Look at all the rappers and drama queens like Madonna, and her earrings . Look at all the wanna bee's wearing the same funny to see all the glitter on them and then a big cross that stands out from the rest
Well sorry , I was just curious The cross was a means of punishment and death by the Romans it is not worshiped in the Christian faith that I know of. It was a slow torturus death . Oh and by the way i havent put up a Christmas tree for over 25 yrs I use a nativity scene with out the wise men , seeing as how they were not there
