I'm having the hardest time finding a sterling silver goose charm. Any ideas???

There is a company called James Avery out of Dallas, Texas. They are famous for their sterling silver charms. If they do not have a goose charm in stock, try going on ebay and typing in James Avery. www.jamesavery.com

There is also a company called Dixie's silver in Dallas that has a lot of charms.

Now we all know that valentine's Day is coming up rather soon. I currently have a boyfriend right now and we will be going out for exactly 2 months on February 4th. Today is 59 days.. (: I need help wit a present to get him.. I know he is getting me a gift. He has told me that but not what he is getting me. For Christmas we also gave each other presents. He gave me a sterling silver peace necklace and I love it sooo much! i gave him a love note and a stuffed animal. He said he loves it as well. So now that it's Valentine's Day I don't want to get him another stuffed animal. I had thought of getting him a box of chocolate, another note, and a heart picture frame with my picture in it. I know he also likes American Eagle clothes but their clothing is expensive sometimes. Do you think he would like the heart picture frame with my picture in it or an American Eagle Gift Card for the mall?? Or do you have a different idea of something I should get him? Quick Banana Chocolate Chip Bars


1 Medium Ripe Banana, peeled
1 Cup Whole Wheat Flour
¾ Cup Brown Sugar, packed
1 Teaspoon Baking Powder
½ Teaspoon Ground Cinnamon
¼ Teaspoon Salt
1/3 Cup Olive or Vegetable Oil
2 Tablespoons Milk
1 Teaspoon Vanilla Extract
1 Egg
¼ Cup Chopped Nuts
½ Cup Chocolate Chips (or what feels good)

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Spray small rectangular or 9x9 square baking pan with non-stick spray.

Chop or mash banana. Combine with flour, brown sugar, baking powder, cinnamon, salt, oil, milk, vanilla and egg in large bowl. Stir in nuts and chocolate chips to this mixture OR save them to add as topping, sprinkling on top of mixture after poured into the pan. Bake for 25-30 minutes.


Isabellas (Oatmeal Cookies)

1 cup butter
1/2 cup sugar
1 tsp vanilla
1 1/4 cups flour
1 1/2 cups oats
Dash salt, optional
Powdered Sugar

Cream butter and sugar until light. Mix in vanilla, then flour, oats and salt. Chill thoroughly. Shape into small balls and place 2 inches apart on an ungreased baking sheet. Flatten with a fork, crisscrossing. Bake at 350 degrees for 12-18 minutes (depending on your oven). Sprinkle with Powdered Sugar

Great choices! If I had to choose the authentic necklace is defiantly the best. It is simple, and a really a great gift! Now, as far as birthday suggestions go the day of her birthday, you could start off with cupcakes that read i love you. somthing simple but sweet. Then that night, take her to her favorite resturant, or to her favorite place. Then after a great night give her the necklace, and kiss her under the stars.

PLEASE CAN SOMEONE HELP ME

I used a lime dip for my animals (sulphur) ... AFTER (like an idot) I read may turn jewerly colors.

My sterling silver (sentimental) jewerly will not go back to it's color.

I tried cleaner, baking soda.............

Here's one thing you might try:

Take a plastic or glass container of some kind (not metal, that's important). Take about 2 feet of aluminum foil, tear it into pieces about 1 inch square, and place the foil in the container. Add enough water to cover the foil by 1-2 inches. Dissolve 1 tsp of baking soda in water.

Drop your jewelry into the container, and let it sit for about 30 minutes. Stir gently every few minutes. If you notice the foil getting darker over time, take out the darkened foil and replace it with new foil. If it works, the silver will slowly clean itself. If the silver is very dirty, this may take many replacements of foil.

This sounds silly, but there's real chemistry going on: Aluminum is more easily oxidized than silver (chemists say it has a lower reduction potential), so the compounds that have oxidized your silver will migrate off the silver and onto the aluminum.

If it doesn't work, it definitely won't make your problem worse. Then you could take it to a jeweler.
