sterling silver charm

I bought a charm that's completely sterling silver and It had got scratches on it I think from a class at school. I don't know how to fill in the scratches or make them less noticeable though and it really sucks to have payed $100 for a charm that's scratched on the first day.
Is there anything I can do to improve the look and make sure it doesn't scrath so badly?

I suggest you buff it,you can do so at the mall and jewlery stores.You can ask them as they have several methods of fixing stuff.I dont wear charms but i wear a watch(kinda the same =P) i take it off when im going to carry things or going to P.E or going to sleep,stuff like that so it wont get scratched.

I am looking for info about a charm bracelet........not an Italian charm bracelet...........It starts with a silver chain bracelet that you could actually wear alone. It is somewhat thicker than a chain you would wear around your neck. The charms snap closed around the chain, and can be purchased separately. They do not form the bracelet itself, like Italian charms do. Thanks.

Can i get away with wearing a gold charm on a sterling silver necklace?

Well...for the most part mixing gold and silver is kind of tacky, but it really depends on what charm and what necklace you're talking about. if it's a big gold charm on a thin silver necklace, you might be able to pull it off. Yet if the chain is heavy and thick...probably not. All you can do is use your own good judgment!
